Im seeing what a good asking price would be...
here r some facts about the car
No rust, perfect shape, new rebuilt tranny from shep, and returning everything back to stock exept rims, tires, brakes, and tranny. Car has 76,000 miles and about 1500 on the new tranny. It has a Southbend DXD clutch also replaced the same time as the tranny, the car has never seen a winter that Im aware of. Kinda checked around on autotrader and there really isnt one for sale in 100 to 200 miles in the same shape as mine

There is one in Rochester right now (98 GSX bone stock, mint shape, 89k miles, Maroon in color) that's listed or $10,500. That's about as high as they will get on the right buyer. Realisticly they would probably sell it for closer to $9500. IN your case the Clutch and Tranny will only better your cause to someone who wants to mod the car, otherwise it's going to drop the value a bit.

Well there is that guy on here that just bought a 98 gsx from my buddy. I think he paid 9600? Something like that, That was with full exhaust, big 16g, remote start/alarm etc. I think there was something like just under 80K on the clock.

My friend bought a 98 gsx a year and a half ago for $8500 with 80K on the clock.
