First Terina's car lost it's tranny computer. Now mine sounds like it spun a bearing. It just has to all happen at once. So I got the tabs put on the CRX and am driving that until sometime after the new year. I'm gonna do the clutch and everything while it's in there so I may have it up on stands until sometime in the spring.

On a good note, for those that remember Terina's accident last fall, she just received good word on it. It sounds like they found it to be mostly the other girls fault. She received a check in the mail from the insurance company for her deductible. What perfect timing!!!! She got her complete deductible back ($500). It took a little while but at least it came.

You know it has to be the least convienent for you, otherwise it would'nt be called life. I mean this light heartedly pimps go through this from time to time.

That sucks to hear both cars are crapping out a little, especially right around the holidays. Hope everything works out!!!

cars always crap out in the butt cold of winter and that has to be the worst if you don't have a heated garage.

Sorry to be unclear I've gone through the same situations with my own car, in fact I think my left front wheel bearing is going out now.

Wow, that sucks! Good thing you never got the CRX sold. Hope you can find a TCU for her car soon, and hopefully that's all it is.

We have a line on a few computers. Still looking for one anywhere I can find one though. When we had to move the cars around when we put my talon in the garage, her's didn't have the tcu in it and it drove exactly the same as when it was hooked up. So I'm 98% sure that that is what the problem is. I hope at least. Mine is another story.

Took the CRX over to my mother's house so I could make use of the heated garage. I gave it a decent once over. I have to do a tune up on it and replace the entire rear brakes. It is perfectly fine to drive for now though. And yes, thank god it didn't sell!!!
