FMIC and Intake are pretty much all setup for now in it's temporary state. I have to redo it another time, but since time is of the essence, I have it in a state that will work for now! Only thing I need to do now is fill it up with PS fluid, get a new BOV dump tube, and finish my wideband install.

Just thought I'd show the rigging I did to get this thing ready for the trip. It's 3am and I'm trying to get this bastard running! Show a lil love to the "Lowes cold air intake". It'll be replaced with something normal once I get back, but for now, she'll get the job done.

The FMIC is pretty dirty, so you can see I started cleaning up some of the rows (the ones that are visible at least ;) )

Weather update: 50 and sunny on Sat, 52 and sunny on Sun.

Not exactly a heatwave, but warm enough for some top-down action for JET and I, and enough heat to get some sticky in the tires.

I might go if I don't wake up hung over. I will have to see I guess. If I see you guys tomorrow morning, good, if not, maybe next time. I won't be planning on staying anywhere but possibly driving back at night. I really just want to get out of the cities for a couple hours/a day.

Brandon that looks good! The weather looks great too, could be warmer but its way better than 30s and snow. Should be getting ready to roll out exactly one day from now. :)

A co-worker is stressing that Grandmas is the place to go, he's in school up there and thinks that would be the best Sat night spot for the bar people.

Not hardly.

First we get Peter to do this :5shotss:

Then we cap him off with a little of this :beerfunnel2:

Then he gets all crazy for some of this :bullrider:

Then he starts looking for a little of this :mj: which turns into alot of this :Banane55:

Then we make a thread about his night and people bring up this :c9598f74:

same here cleaned the evo out and washed it for the first time it look pretty good even though it is diffrent colors. The car is now runing right too with the new dsm chip in it. no more boost cut/fuel cut problems

I gave the Evo a quick spray wash and called it good. Isn't as if the bitches in Duluth will care when I'm in between an S2000 and M3. :( ;)

Haha, I dunno if I'll be racing the car all that much actually Chris. I'm untuned on e85 now, and a rigged up intake and IC pipe. Will probably just be a nice easy drive for me!

My current block took a shit on me. So I am selling it all. I'll fill you in tomorrow.

Re: Spring Cruise, April 14-15, 2007, Duluth Weekend!

My cap, ball, and spring dissassembled itself in my boost controller. Cheap ebay one. Does anyone have an extra one for tomorrow? Cause running on actuator boost will be depressing... I can pay. Least I'll get better gas mileage!

Re: Spring Cruise, April 14-15, 2007, Duluth Weekend!

The hardware store is your friend. :)

BTW, I'm also having turbo issues (terrible leak between manifold and turbo = no boost) so I will have to skip the trip. The mountain of homework I have to do may have something to do with it as well.

See you boys in the AM.

Don't forget cash for tshirts & stickers!!!

Re: Spring Cruise, April 14-15, 2007, Duluth Weekend!

Everyone arrive at Menards with a full tank of gas please! Menards is at 694 and Hwy 65/Central Ave. in Fridley. Be there at 9:00 AM, we roll at 9:30 AM sharp.

The S is nice and washed, but I wasn't able to get a coat of wax on due to the cool temps. The interior was also vacuumed and every surface is covered in its own proper protectant. The new (quieter) catback is also nice and polished :)

Everyone please also check all your oil, fluids, tire pressure, everything to make sure your car is ready for the trip. I don't want anyone having issues due to a cause that could have easily been avoided.
