Any word on when your getting yours, Mark? Also be prepared for a customs fee, as a cod possibly when you get it. |

Suspension is in, brakes are swapped. Sanded all the surface rust off the rotors. taped off the engine bay. Sanded all the tube work on the front end, and primed it. Waiting for the paint matching the car to show up to paint the front end. New head is finished and assembled. Wheels swapped. Lots more to do this weekend but, hoping to have the engine in and wired up by the end of the weekend.

well, I've had the car running and driving for about two weeks now. I wish the season wasn't over. Here are a few pic's I'll link the video but I dont think it will work. I got it on the road on Halloween night. The car gets on the stall very well from a dig. This auto stuff is so much fun! I've deemed the car the "automonster" It's on about 22-24psi currently. I'll be giving rides out tomorrow before it goes into storage.

Re: Progress since last year
Looking good! Get it out early for next season, get the bugs worked out. Can't wait to see what this thing does down the track!
|
Re: Progress since last year
Good job on getting this thing running, I'm interested to see how it goes next year at the track!
|
Re: Progress since last year
WHat's left I can't wait to see this thing run 8s.
|
Re: Progress since last year
All the bugs are worked out. It's running great! All I need to do for the track is put on some slicks, and turn the boost up. Thanks for the comments guys!

Re: Progress since last year
^Oh sorry, by bugs I mostly meant axles and drivetrain components :D

Re: Progress since last year
I'll pass out the ride card in the spring for sure. I'll turn up the boost as well and see what she can do.
Over the winter mods: Carbon fiber hood, and hatch (If I can find a hatch). Possibly do a chassis painless wiring harness. Hoosier quick time pro's on all corners. Hook up the nitrous. Find a different set of wheels to put street tires on. (open to suggestions, like the evo9 bbs in grey) |
Re: Progress since last year
Nice plans, what's the minimum weight you can have for real street?
