Sounds good, I will review prior so I have a semi idea of what I am doing :) Knoxville has some radios to test too, maybe we could try having a lead car/rear car with radios or something. dunno

LOL!

I spun because I was trying to match your tempo in a POS DSM. ;)

Doesn't seem to be a problem for me ;) Maybe it's a 2g thing?

Nope, I was the next car behind Spaz in my 2g.

To be fair, I think we did push it harder back then, before the two accidents.

Harder? No. More safely? Yes. None of the incidents occurred until after I moved and stopped leading the cruises. They key is to push hard when you can, and ease up when you shouldn't. These are public roads with traffic, debris, etc., not closed-course race tracks.

I agree completely. I personally was pushing harder than I should have in a car that wasn't set up to keep up with Evos. I cooked the brakes trying to close the gaps that were opening in the straights. It was my fuck up and I'm super lucky that I spun where I did and not in a higher speed corner or closer to trees or other motorists.

BTW, I'm planning and leading a cruise for a group this year, so I'll get my piece of humble pie on how that goes. From the sound of it I'll learn a lot in doing so. :)

Leading a cruise is definitely more involved that just participating/following in one. You have to watch out for upcoming traffic, wildlife, random debris in the road, all while watching the group in your mirrors to make sure the pack is staying together and everyone is OK.

Yes it does! I believe this is the largest number of registrants we've ever had, and we still have a little over three weeks to go! Can we get 30 cars?!?!

So Dan Mau and Kate wont be able to make the cruise. They double booked and have a wedding that weekend.

I'm trying to get a couple other friends to join. One with a solid NA C5 and a TT Viper.

Rock chips? Oh come on now. Bad reason not to go, you can stay further back from people to avoid this, you don't have to ride ass.

I haven't even talked to my neighbor yet but if I'm in I'm sure I can get him to join if he's free.
