From what I have read, brp7es with a .024 gap are the way to go. I currently have br7es plugs and have tried different gaps and I get knock every time. I am going to pick up some bpr's tonight and see if it changes anything.

I'm on bpr8es gapped to .18. My old talon was bpr7es and when Shane tuned it he gapped them to .20

So made it to the dyno. No ill effects minus running out if fuel. Which is fine I surpassed my hp goal with the car with at least 8 lbs of boost left on the table.

So here is a quick run down of the setup.

2.4 fully built
1G head
S2 cams
Gsc beehives
1100 high z
255 hp rewired
Bolt on 3076 8cm fp hotside tdo6h4 turbine

These #s were through an auto at 22-23 lbs of boost and 17-18 peak timing

Plan as of right now is to get to the track and see what it runs.

In the meantime ill be looking for some 2150s and a walbro 450.

Huge thanks to Shane @ DB. I know I was shocked at the #s and the fact I ran out of fuel but I don't think I was the only one.

I cant wait to see what this thing is going to do at the track. If it doesn't go 10's on the first pass I'll be very surprised. I am regretting not sticking around long enuf to get a ride after the tune. Did you do any pulls on your way home?

I had to go to chaska after so I sat in a lot if traffic.

I didn't get to play till I got on 65 by Aaron's but glad I waiting car just pulls and pulls.

I'm at 118 @7100-7200 so ill have to bump the rev limiter to 8k. Which should be fine

Good numbers. Looks like the turbo has a bit left in her since boost is still hard as a rock. What was your IDC on those 1100's?

Car broke last night. I think it's just the crank bolts but still sucks as my schedule might not let me touch the car till I'm back from Iowa.

So when doing the routine stuff to actually take the trans out this happened.

So I went searching for the clip. I pulled the center diff and found nothing. No shavings either. Did the person who put the trans together forget this clip? No clue

I like how it tuned out and the dripping blood is kinda fitting since Tom and I were both bleeding after tonight.

Yeah kinda. Gotta put another $500+ into it if I wanna max my setup. So ill see what it runs the way it sits. If I get booted from the track I don't see a point to make it faster since I'm not doing a cage and all that jazz.

All back together. Took goodhart out for a rip, little hesitant since I wanted to feel it out a little make sure all was well.

After the rip we pulled in the drive to find coolant pissing for the thermo housing. Thankfully it was just the lines I looped to get her that go to the turbo so nothing major.

Told him to post a vid of 0-120 so ill wait for that.
