The tune was fine and running great as I left it (he had numerous track and autocross days on it to prove it), problem is he didn't know what he was doing yet he was still making changes to the timing tables and I think he made some changes to the injector scaling too for some reason. As I left the car it wasn't knocking at all and nearly steady 11:1 AFR across the powerband. I put a ton of work into street-tuning the car once I moved to TX and then again when I converted to speed density.

Calvin (Cobb's tuner) has a lot of work in store for him getting everything working properly since there are so many hacks and emissions deletes done to the car ;)

the new owner had it at a different shop [for the past few months] and they haven't been making any progress on the trouble-shooting and tuning so he got frustrated and decided to take it to Cobb just so he can get it running properly and enjoy it.

We were talking about it last night, he let out a few long sighs while I was explaining what has all been done to the ECU, emissions, random sensors, etc. :D

The 4R lobes were flaking away. Cobb suspected they were regrinds, not actual new cores which is possible since they were from FP's first run.

I did buy them used too so who knows if they were broken in properly.
