Not bad for pump gas and a $200 pair of pea shooters:

Now get a 2nd fuel pump and lets turn it up :drive: Great chart Ryan, that manifold really does work well. |
Re: 2009 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 3rd @ MAP
I have the 2nd fuel pump already... It's the AFPR and clutch that I am going to need that's holding me back.

Im was surprised with my numbers, happy too, but the tune is messed up for some reason. It really gets F-ed at 5.5k. Ill scan it and post it up later.

Ugh, I forgot to eat all day but we managed to keep cars in queue for the dyno w/o too many problems :) Hit up Marcello's for some pizza quick and finally home after a long day. I *think* the total was 30 cars, this ties us for most cars ever.
My car did 430whp/370wtq on pump and 480whp/442wtq on alky. Numbers are down about 5% from what I was expecting, but ehh, different dynos, different load on the car, different weather, etc, I'll review the logs and post up dyno plot tomorrow. |
Re: 2009 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 3rd @ MAP
Any possiblilty of posting the dyno board?

Re: 2009 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 3rd @ MAP
It was great to meet some of you guys today, both at Cars & Cafe and at MAP. Time to call it a wrap on this upgrade cycle and get a tune...I'm missing 40-50hp!

Re: 2009 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 3rd @ MAP
Ya'll might not care too much about an OWWDEE's results, but here are mine. I was one of the last cars to run.
1.8T with GT28RS (with HTA style Billet 68mm wheel). Pump Gas with Aquamist HFS-1 (1mm nozzle) spraying 50/50 water/meth around 4000rpm 19psi: 284whp, 292wtq 25psi: 339whp, 356wtq The power band was near 325whp all the way from about 4700 to 6800rpm. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. My last dyno (different turbo, different tune) was 242whp@19psi at DB. Logs: 19psi 284whp 292wtq: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...=0&output=html 25psi 339whp 356wtq: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...=0&output=html Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQlAUWx2g54 Graph (both 19 and 25psi, and one more aborted run where an IC hose popped off): http://www.mnaudi.com/gallery2/d/787...ot-25psi-19psi I had a great time, thanks scheides and everyone else who helped pull this off! |
