Re: my new project
I think they are priced per injector. Just a heads up.
|
Re: my new project
They are cheap, from what I have heard about them.
|
Re: my new project
You know you would be better off buying a bike...... And now is the perfect time

Re: my new project
Wait, did you blow it up or anything? I'd need that thing in working order to be able to sell all the pieces off it. FWIW I made roughly $10k when I parted my Talon out. This one has much more expensive parts on it than mine did, but also might not be worth as much as they were 4 years ago...

Nope nothing blew up. It runs and drives. At least until I pull the injectors. Sold them to cornfed2.4. I'm just sick of it but don't feel like waiting out a part out. Could take a long time to finish. I wouldn't just give the parts away I would want what they're worth. |
Re: my new project
I know a guy with a modded busa that is cheap and never ridden hard.
|
Re: my new project
I had pretty much everything gone (including the chasis) in about 30 days, with a majority of it gone in the first couple weeks. Just gotta price it right, find a good balance between not giving it away, but pricing it to sell.

Re: my new project
I think it's a '06
|
Re: my new project
I really want an 08 or newer. Would possibly settle for an 06 or 07 if the price was right. But i dont have the funds to buy a bike so no need to worry about it right now lol
|
Re: my new project
Sell car and you have funds and less headache.
|
Re: my new project
I'm working on it lol
|
Re: my new project
Am I the only one on the forum that recommends Shawn keeps this awesome car and fixes the very small problem it has? Fuel pressure seem like such a small thing to diagnose, seriously????? I want to see a solid DSM.
|
Re: my new project
I was thinking the same thing. Everyone parts their shit for any reason now a days it seems.

I am selling the fuel system stuff because I am rebuilding the whole system. And trying to sell the turbo cause I have some bad ideas I'm trying to make happen. We won't get into those yet. At least not until I know I can make it happen. But yeah there will be no part out. |
Re: my new project
Good. I'm in for results on this bad bish next spring!!
|
Re: my new project
So i got fed up with this thing and am in the middle of a part out but have been getting the itch to put this thing back together with a stockish setup for a winter car. Someone please talk more out if it lol
|
Re: my new project
Just buy a bike already
|
Re: my new project
Get serious with the part out and put it up on all dsm sites and CL. A bike will make you happy.
|
Re: my new project
Does it still have heat? Think the cage would suck for a daily, but I'd rock it on a stockish setup for sure

Do it, I love mine more than ever now that I can just jump in and drive it anytime, no issue. It's not fun when you work on it more than drive it. You'll probably start getting the itch to mod a bit more just like I am now once it's stockish. |
Re: my new project
Keep it haha :)
|
Re: my new project
Sell/part it out, buy bike. Then buy a decent daily. You will love life.
