Yup, I meant C6, sorry. My evo will pull away from one pretty easily right now, I've seen a few frowns and head-scratching expressions :)

I'd love to have one too. But geez I have a hard enough time paying for the crap I put on my talon, and I own that thing. Trying to mod an Evo, and have car payments at the same time, no way.

I would like to race an EVO and see how I hold up. Everytime I see one on the highway it's just the occasional head nod or thumbs up. Too much respect for each other to drive carelessly and have a pissing contest. EVOs are the shizznit.

:D I just laughed out loud when I got the mental image of a guy driving a Corvette scratching his head with a WTF look on his face.

I love Evo's. Yes and I drove one also. A few times that is. Fun fast little cars they are. But I still like my 1g.

Just think if you got one there would be a two them here. Well when mine isn't getting work done to it that is.

I am on the "Want an Evo" bandwagon as well. I am thinking its going to be a happy graduation from college a few years ago type of thing. :p I think they are best in black or silver, but I want a black one...

scheides, how do you pull away from a 112-113mph trapping car with your 105mph max car?

Unless of course you are modded. Or you are thinking about the C5 vette (97 to 04).

If you are stockish and claiming that you are walking away from C6's, I would like to run you with my stock LS1 that weighs 3800lbs. :)

Yeah I just read this thread and was like "huh" when I read that. There are stock Z06s that are in the low 11s. And a C6 can get into the 11s and low 12s with a good driver.

I would take an EVO over a Vette though since I live in Minnesota, if I live somewhere where it didn't snow I would take the Vette in a heart beat.

You're welcome Brent. I drove shotgun in a WRX and gave up the keys to the EVO for you. I hoped you enjoyed it.;) (the keys are still in my pocket btw.)

Allan, drive an EVO through some 40 mph twisties at about 70 and you will truely appreciate an EVO. Man, that is fun. I want one too.

They are fun at 70 in a 40mph corner, and "S" curves are great fun! We have had our "05 Evo MR for over a year and really enjoy it. Gone through a set of tires, and needs a clutch. Had it to the track a few times and it ran low 13's stock. Holds 4 adults and grandkid w/carseat nicely. They are quick little cars and lots of fun to drive! I'm going to teach Janna to drive a stick So Allen can get one! Then we'll get the new clutch!

Sounds like a plan to me, I'll also have to drive it someday as well and get a "feel" for it. ;)

This has been discussed elsewhere. We can talk racing at applebee's, but not here :) My evo is not the fastest thing on the planet I'm just telling it like it is ;)

ZOMG! I'm calling the cops cause you said you are going to race at applebees in the parking lot. ;) I like Evo's but I'd rather save for that 996TT.

I might have my dream car by next week, and it's nothing mentioned in this thread.:D
