Correct me if I'm wrong, but last year when Kyle ran that 11.1 or whatever it was on E85, he was running an SC61 with stock lines, and a single Walbro 255HP. And I think they mentioned he was pretty much at his limits there. But that is still a decent amount of power that fuel setup was handling.

It runs cooler. It cools the intake charge temps, it cools the EGT temps, it can lower your coolant temps a little.

That's what I wanted to know right there, talking with some buddys about e85 they had stated it runs damn hot and it is pretty bad on the engine. I think I may try my ways with it.
Hey does anyone know if I can run both Prem(93) and e85 using DSMLINK and say 880's? Or would it be too much on 880's/e316G? Or too little I meant. |

Erm, I work on my own. I can yell and spazz out in ease and not look like a psycho.
I was just wondering if I could run both gases, but now that I think about it, why not just run e85 if it runs cooler and possibly am able to get more powah out of it.. |

If you have link, then have two tunes one for E85 and one for 93, but if your trying to mix the fuels and have a consistant tune then have fun, maybe im wrong but that seems like it would be a pain to tune and keep consistant

Yeah, I have link and was going to make 2 tunes. 1 for each. But I think I may just go straight e85. I just tried to make everything more difficult, as usual. Thanks guys.

I just finished tuning a 2.3L stroker evo with a 61mm on it on "dual tunes".
He has a daily driver E85 tune and a "limp home" 93 octane mode when he can't find E-85. I would recommend something like that. Like mentioned above, blending gasoline makes for very inconsistant power and tuning. |

AMS did a pretty good test on Corrosiveness of E85.
I have also read that difference in corrosion between E10 and E85 is minimal. All cars are designed to run E10, so therefore E85 shouldn't cause much difference. |

I have a 1993 Talon TSI AWD turbo and all I have for mods would be Apexi N1 3" turboback exhaust and a K&N filter. I am wondering what exactly I would need to switch to E85.
