Did anyone noticed in GH2 in one of the movies you can win, it looked like they were using a Double Guitar controller? Thought that would be bad ass if they made the game to go with that. Anyways sounds like I'll have to pick up the game.
I still have my dream theater CD someplace, Metallica was the reason I got into playing Guitars when I was in HS. Can't say I listened to them after the black album though. I still have most of there old stuff Live in concert on VHS, fun to watch from time to time.

33 of 42 completed on hard, I got stuck on one, so I moved to medium to unlock them all, then I'll practice that one song, should beat medium tonight.
I have all the bonus songs unlocked and 15k in the bank, beating down slash was awesome.

I played One and Through the Fire and Flames for the first time last night on xBox live. I got my ass handed to me on both account, both songs are just fuck'n sick. Through the Fire and Flames is sick enough on Medium, I'd hate to see someone do 90% or better on expert and still have hands that work.

Nice, I have slowly been getting through hard but I have been playing Halo 3 a lot too and thats taking most of my time. I got through medium just to see all the songs in one fell swoop, but I usually just get on and go to quick play to play the songs I like on hard... which is most of them. :D

I have the slayer song and one left to beat on hard ;).
5 star'd the first 2 sets on medium 100% on 1 song, 99% on 3.
One is hard at about the 80% mark, but I have a gameplan, the slayer song I can get 36% thru and get stuck, guess I have to practice.
They really stepped up the difficulty level on this one.
I have all the songs and slash+tom unlocked.
Love the graphics on it.

Yeah it does seem a bit harder, like maybe a 1/2 step up from hard on GH2.

I know the exact part on 'One' where you are getting stuck, thats where I get stuck also, I get like 75-80% up until that point though. You have to fucking mash middle, ring and pinkie fingers on yellow blue and orange.

Through the Fire and Flames is a beast of a song, I literally can't get more than 30 seconds into the song on Hard.

The problem with tuesday nights is timing.
If I am at the shop, I'd rather commute from Ramsey to Monticello, versus, Ramsey to plymouth to monticello.
If I am at work, I'll meet someone for a beer at old chicago around 5ish in plymouth, otherwise again, monticello to plymouth to monticello isn't ideal on a tuesday night.

The dyno day I had a bunch of shit going on ;).

So I was at VIR this weekend and one of my brothers friends brought his wife along who is a big fan of GH and of coarse she brought it GH3 so after the races every night we went back to the hotel for some GH3 sessions. And all I can say is this chick was sick.
The first day I was like let me see this thing and started playing on Hard. she'd already unlocked every song on Hard so I picked "One" and of coarse did fine till about the End where it just gets crazy. She was like Not bad.
So I said lets see what you got. She switch's up to expert which she had like 20 something songs already unlocked on Expert. And went to town. Almost all the songs she had unlocked on Expert almost all of them she did with 4 stars. she actually checked some of her scores on line and she made the top 100 best players list.
Needless to say I went out as soon as I got home and bought GH3 so far I've unlocked every song on Hard expect the 2 that swanny is having problems with, The slayer song is just stupid, Can't even get more then 30%
And the One song I can get all the way to the end till you hit that crazy part where it's all pull offs Even in practice I can't do it fast enough on the "slow" settings.
Anyhow I've beat all of EASy about 60% are 100% on the songs (just to lazy to go back and do them over) and I beat Medium already with about 20% of the songs 100%
I like How they changed up so there are more outfits this time and more characters. Took me a while to figure out how to get to the outfits once I bought them, as well as being able to play the Dragonforce song so it actually counts vs. only when you beat the game.

That Sousaphone would be the most hilarious party game ever. Look at that thing. A big ass sousaphone(wtf?) with colorful buttons on it. I am not rolling on the floor laughing my ass off but I do in fact have a big grin.
