I'm in the same boat as Steve. It is very tempting, but the uncertainty of the auto tranny and the previous owners comment on how it ran is a slight concern(on top of the known issues). I will watch this thread to see what happens and see what I can come up with.
BTW, you mentioned you needed a car that actually moved.. Are you looking for basic transportation that is reliable? Or are you looking for something nice..? I have a 1990 Subaru Legacy LS AWD(rusty/clean interior) that is very reliable, it needs a little brake work, but other then that, it is very reliable. Just throwing it out there to see if a trade of some sort is an option. |
