Man, this is pretty sad people would do this crap. First day I had my mustang somebody keyed it. 2nd day somebody tried to break in and dented my roof. Things like this make me want to not have nice cars anymore. Best of luck to the two of you getting your cars fixed.

I agree with 311... This is truly amazing, I am very proud to be a member of this forum!! The generosity shown here is incredible!

With this said I would like to donate my half to 311 to help him pay for his damage. I just received my estimate and I have enough left over after paying the deductable to go with a rexpeed lid spoiler (something lower profile :)).

Again I cannot say enough about how remarkable every here is!

Wow, anyway we could have researched/reviewed the hotel a bit more? Really sucks that we have to check police reports and criminal activity in areas we want to stay in now :( :( :(

Not that I'm aware of, we weren't cruising around town looking for races or anything, we drove straight to the hotel and parked.

Really sucks though, I can't believe someone would do this, it's just stupid.

Not a whole lot more I can do when picking a hotel short of calling police and asking about criminal activity. This is a nice downtown hotel, not some cheap shithole in the ghetto. I read the online user reviews on the big travel sites. My family has stayed at this hotel a few years back and all had good things to say (family reunion thing a few years back). When mentioning the hotel to people who have lived in La Crosse nobody said anything bad about it (or downtown in general). This was probably an incident that could have happened anywhere given the proper circumstances. Who knows, it very well could have been some import-hater drunk after bar close...

As far as I am aware nobody did anything to warrant a retaliation. A few of the guys were followed into the ramp by a riced Civic and it probably would have been smart of them to ditch the guy before parking, but who knows. Hindsight is 20/20, but I can tell you that we will never be using that hotel again for multiple reasons.
