I am now looking at mine in the garage on jackstands because SOUTHVIEW CHEVROLET decided they would charge us for the replacement of, and labor for, a balance shaft belt when they were doing the timing belt that snapped. Unbeknownst to us, they never replaced it with a new one. They just put the old one back in. So of course it snapped and went underneath the timing belt. Causing the timing to jump and bend all the intake valves.

It's only been a month now, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am very close to getting eveything put back together now.

Never bring your DSM to a Chevy dealer for service. Although, that's certainly not the first time that sHomosexual Organized Romping Teamcut has been taken by a shop.

It was before I bought the car from my mother. She had always taken it there because it was close and it is a Jeep dealer as well. I told her before that if anything goes wrong with the car, have it towed home. I would fix it. But she wasn't thinking clearly because she had a cop telling her she had to have it towed NOW and could not wait for AAA. It was during afternoon rush hour on 35E. Of course that was also 3 years and 60,000 miles ago.
