If you can find a buyer for the EMS, I'd recommend ECMLink instead, it's a lot easier to tune and use.

Good luck with your project!

After talking with Shane, I think I am going to switch to ECMLink. I have a few questions though. What all do I need to run ECMLink versus AEM EMS? I'm guess I won't need my AEM AIT sensor anymore. Do I still need a 5-bar MAP or just get a 3-3.5" GM MAF? Trying to get everything together and ordered. I don't have the OEM ECU. Which one would I need to get?

Re: Project 2G GSX

Why a GM MAF? Why not just stick with a Mitsu one? 2g and Evo 8 MAS's go a long way. I personally wouldn't run a GM MAF unless I had no other choice, not worth the hastle in my opinion.

Or you could keep the IAT and MAP sensors and run speed density with ECMLink.

x2. Keep the iat and map sensor and just run speed density with it. I know you used to always want a '95 eprom ecu for ECMLink. I'm not sure if you can use other years that aren't eproms any more though.

This is great news. I wasn't sure if that was an option with ECMLink. Makes me feel a little more comfortable that I would only need to give up the AEM EMS versus everything that I already have.

Re: Project 2G GSX

And you'll be a couple hundred dollars ahead after selling the AEM and getting ECMLink.

Re: Project 2G GSX

Even better, then I can spend it elsewhere.

Added ECMLink to my list of parts to get. What should I run for injectors?

Lots of people like the FIC 1680 high-Z injectors for E85. My FIC 1350's aren't bad, but a friend with a similar setup to mine has FIC 1450's and hates them.

Don't get PTE 1200's if you're running E85 either. There have been about a million of them to fail, some people say they are not compatible with E85, others have run them with no issues. I wouldn't take the chance on a vehicle of mine.

Cool, thanks for the info. Shane also recommended those injectors. Sounds like people have really liked them.

Updated my parts list. Getting a little closer to done.

Very nice and long mod list! We need moar pictures!

AEM widebands have a very easy to read display and are easy to log in dsmlink.

Also depending on how much power you're looking to make a boost a pump is an easy option to make more power on a single pump and not do anything crazy.

Re: Project 2G GSX

Thanks Brad, I was thinking about going with the AEM wideband. As far as the fuel goes, I am not really sure on what kind of power I will be making. I'm guessing somewhere around 500 give or take some.

I'll post up some pictures soon! I really don't have many right now to be honest. lol

Just finally registered and insured the car last week. I am hoping to have it on the road within the next couple of weeks. Such a good feeling to finally get to this point! Now I am curious as to what kind of numbers I will pull.

I like the way it keeps making power with RPM.

Nicely done. Can you link me to these High-Z 1680 injectors? I've never heard of them.
