No... It cannot be anything other than what I stated... If the cam sensor works when its out of the engine, but does not work when its installed in the engine.
It would either be the cam sensor or the cam! Go check what I told you to check. It has to be one of those 4 things... How could the ecu all of a sudden stop working when you put the cam sensor in the head? But as soon as you pull the cam sensor and spin it by hand, it starts to work again? Use your brain man. If you are not willing to at least check what is suggested, then dont ask for help. |

I will look again with travis and see if the cam spinning but i think it is for sure but I will also look in side were the cam sensor is at and it could be off. I will check it all out tonight and see.

Take a picture if there is any question.
Also when you spin the cam sensor by hand, push in and pull out on the piece you are spinning and see if you still get spark and fuel. It could be that when the cam sensor is installed it puts pressure on the shaft and something is bad inside the cam sensor. So wiggle it around while you are spinning it and see if anything happens. |
