Yes for closed loop operation there is the SD VE Adjust tool. It will recommend adjustments to the VE table based on fuel trims, but there is also the MAFComp Adjust tool that uses fuel trims to calculate adjustments for the MAFComp sliders if using a MAF. With both tools it is very important to have proper global fuel settings first. But thats just the beginning, WOT is where you spend your time tuning. To tune safely and still make power it helps having a good understanding of what A/F ratio and ignition timing should be corresponding to load and RPM and the effect ignition timing has on A/F ratio. So making adjustments to your timing table effects the A/F ratio and would likely require airflow adjustment to keep things where you want them and so on. It goes much more in depth than this. So yeah I guess its not "easy" but once you start playing around with it you'll gain more understanding of the whole thing. |

one thing I noticed is that my wideband reads anywhere from 16-18 at idle. isn't that crazy lean? but then when I look at my logs it says different? I have the white wire on my wideband ran to pin 75 on my ecu as well |

Re: dsm link v3 tuning help :/
im honestly not giving myself enough credit here. I know a little, but im just scared to really attempt anything on my own, its like im playing the childhood game of operation, and everytime I go to do anything or adjust it I hear that "BZZZZZZ" sound in the back of my head lol
would just feel more comfortable with someone who knows the ins and outs answering questions as I go about it. I rather be really cautious now and ask 101 questions to get the right answers then dick around and destroy my car :/ |

Re: dsm link v3 tuning help :/
What wb are you attempting to use? If it’s an lc1 you are going to have to download the lm programmer and set your voltage points on your wb and in link. IF you don’t have this set up right there is no point on going any farther.
https://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/innovatelc1orlm1install get it here http://www.ecmtuning.com/images/foru...MConfig315.exe I had a second to look at your log quick. Your global dead time needs to go back to 0. Check your car with timing light. Confirm its 5 degrees behind tdc. Is this a 6 bolt swap? Set your coolant cel light down from 234 to 215. Unclick disable airflow smoothing with sd operation. I assume you have a stock TB? if so unclick the idle switch operation. And log it in your next log to make sure its activating properly. Do this and get a log of with how you have your wb set up. |
