Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
So damn cool. Any plans for more powa? Or you focusing more on handling?
|
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Wow, badass for sure. Nice pickup! The car looks really fun.
PS. I saw in the SB you are looking at running the ds2500's. I have them on my car and they work great, nice street pad for sure. |
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Wow, this thing is SEX.
I'm planning on Marshalltown on July 12th, you should really try to make that event so I can see and ride in this beast. ;) |
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Does it use a factory Ford ECU or a standalone?
|
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
No real plans yet, maybe an updated tune. I want to get really comfortable driving/racing the car before I do any major mods.
Yea, I can probably make that Marshalltown event on July 12th. As for the ECU, I'm not sure. I think the newer Rossion Q1 uses a Ford ECU with OBDII, but my car doesn't have OBDII, so I'm not sure. This is something I'm looking into, since I want to be able to have it dyno tuned, and log data with my track cam/logger as well. Ferodo DS2500 pads going on later today. A few days before I picked up the car the previous owner installed new rotors and Carbotech XP10 pads. The pads squeal way too much, I can handle a little, but these are ridiculous and embarrassing to drive around town. He gave me the old rotors (which can be turned) and nearly new sets of DS2500 and DS3000 pads with the car. Maybe I'll turn the old rotors and pair them with XP10 pads for track days. |
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Your car has ducting so it will be different, but, I ran DS2500s on the Evo and could cook them in 2-3 laps at BIR.
They were great for the street, though. And the obligatory "needs TT LSx swap." |
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
^OMGZ that would be insane. someone has to of done one!

Hmm, you're probably right. I already switched to the DS2500 on the new rotors. Maybe I'll get another set of new rotors for the front for track days. But, the car is only 2300lbs with brake ducting, maybe the DS2500 will be ok.

Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
What 2300 lbs. That thing should move real good with 400+ whp.
|
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Very very cool. Looks like it is a blast to drive!

That is really sweet! I love where they mount the air filters to take advantage of the fresh air flowing towards to the intercooler!

Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
In this picture, I must know what the two red buttons on the steering wheel are for. It better be for NOS haha!

Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Im guessing horn, haha! Either that or missiles, nail dumping or machine gun activation.
|
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Most likely missiles...has to be, the buttons are red!
|
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
Yea! You can see the bottle next to the seat belt!
|
Re: 2006 Noble M400 #141
The fire extinguisher is an undercover NOS bottle, the left red button is missiles, and the right button is NOS.
But really, it's just an extinguisher and the horn buttons. The fire system is pretty cool, I pull a lever in the driver footwell (out of the way so you don't accidentally pull), and it sprays the cockpit and engine bay. Got the car cleaned today, the blue shines so much more now: http://www.dsmstyle.com/photopost/da...ont_corner.jpg http://www.dsmstyle.com/photopost/da...ack_corner.jpg http://www.dsmstyle.com/photopost/da...lean_front.jpg |
