WOW... haha i havent gotten around to looking on here since i made the first post, what, yesterday?!?!? haha... i heard about the site thru a friend of mine.. his cousin has a 1st gen on here. not sure what his name is but i can surely find out.. ok now to attempt to reply to you crazy guys.. haha, im not full asian.. haha.. i have asian in me, but i dont look it..and sorry boys, im taken haha... as far as the cook out.. is that in MN? i bet i know some people who will show up. uhm.... no my talon is not green.. its red n black with gun metal motegis. as far as my car being a neon, one of my best friends drives an 04 srt4... and believe me when i tell you hes given me a lot of shit for my car.. haha.. infact [this is to.. josh...] i had thought about a first gen, however, like you seemed to have stated, they just arent as good looking [in my own personal opinion, though i have seen some pretty pimp ones] as the second gens. yes i know its kinda "girly" to judge alot of a car by looks, but i am a girl... and looks of my car are important. haha... i havent really been able to find a decent turbo for my car yet, not that i have any money for it anyways haha. and i didnt want a stock turbo talon, way to many problems as far as them crank walking after 90k... plus every single one i found was a 7 bolt.. so i just fuck it. But thanks josh for all of the suggestions, i'll most deff be talking to you about this kind of stuff. ... Enes... Sweet car!! Peter- I would, but this isn't in my section, so I can't modify posts on this part of the board.
Tauni- With the suspension, when you drop it that far, it puts the tires out of original alignment with the road surface. This will lead to uneven tire wear, and can actually worsen handling. Camber/caster plates are recommended and required for that much of a drop.

Tauni, no they weren't comparing your car to a SRT4, they were comparing to a regular neon, since they have the same engine but the eclipse weighs more.

Tauni, if you plan to stay here with us on the boards, you should try your best to use correct grammer, spelling, and real words. The mods cry about it when we dont make sense because its hard to read ( I get it now, took me a long time ;) ).

You dont even have to bring your car to the cookout. You can just go. Its to hang out, you dont have to show off your car. You can just look at other ones! Then you could meet a lot of people on the boards and get aquainted with some of the local shops. Where are you from in mn? If you previously told us, I must have missed it!

To each their own, if you want something done to your car, do it. Dont listen to anyone else. Even if its a body kit.. ugh!
