Shank has made some great plays this year. and adds options to the offence.
Allen has been pretty quiet for the same reasons AP hasnt gotten many big plays, teams Offencive lines are double and triple teaming the guy, letting other Defencive players shine and get the big sacks. but every time that they put allen on single cover he blasts through and makes the play.
For griffin you cant write him off because he missed one play, otherwise you can write even farve off for getting interceptions here and there. Overall we have a very well rounded team and this year will be a good year to go to the super bowl. As long as the defence shapes up in the post season. you really can see how much EJ was a vital part of the D now that he is gone. just wish we had someone better to back him up.

I agree with you and you make good points. I would never down the vikings. I think they have a very good opertunity to win the super bowl this year. As for people double teaming and triple teaming our star players, Yes your right about that too. If I was the coach of the opposite team I would triple team Allen all day! Doesn't mean he's not a great player, even though he gets double teamed he still makes it through every once in a while.

I'm still rooting for the Cowboys but when it comes to Vikes and Cowboys, I have my money on the cowboys. Vikes are not having the greatest passing defense. IIRC, Vikes defence are second in letting the rushers get by them. And from what I've seen, Vikes passing defence hasn't improved much. I like the Vikes but when it comes to this, they just won't get the chance to win. A great match would be Packs vs Vikes .....but that isn't looking too good right now at all.

Yea but Tony Romo isn't Peyton Manning. As long as we do what we do, and shut down the run, it will put all the burden on a QB, that in the playoffs, has had his problems handling pressure. As long as the Vikings can get it romos face, and shut down the run, I don't see why we can't easily win. Winfield and Griffin HAVE to step up though, there's no reason for 2 pro-bowl caliber cb's can't hold their own.

Tony Homo will fold under the pressure that our front 4 will bring, let alone a blitz. After Dallas abandons the run against us, probably sometime in the 3rd quarter, it will just become a blowout.

LOL I had some awesome BBQ for lunch today. Me moving to TX has nothing to do with hating the Vikings though, I perfected that skill over the first 27 years of my life.

I'll take part in your pay-ban wager, but since its $5/day to pay-ban a mod you'll have to pay-ban yourself for a week since that also costs $5 (or 5 people for 1 day).

Here is what I am thinking for the wager rules:

Anyone who participates MUST commit $5 to the pay-ban fund if their team loses (backing out after losing will result in a month real ban; no exceptions). The funds must be send within 12 hours of the game ending otherwise you'll be considered as backing out (see above). The $5 must include yourself but can also include others that also picked the losing team; how you ban with the $5 is up to you as long as you ban yourself for at least 1 day. The losers may stack bans on top of each other with no grace periods between each ban.

Since I'm a mod and pay-banning me costs more I'll commit $10 rather than the normal $5.

If people want to actually do this I'll make a separate thread with a public poll so everyone can see who picked what team, and we'll easily know who is participating.

I believe I won that argument. Dallas got blown out and after the 3rd quarter it was just simply over for them. I wonder how that EXPRESS flight home treated them.

I guess it doesn't matter, they can now watch the rest of the season from the comfort of their homes.
