If anyone was wondering why this event is taking place, please read this.

This is a quote from the our owner Chris Carrey's wife Heather.

"Three years ago I lost one of the strongest most influential people in my life. At the young age of 41 my mother passed away the morning after meeting my newborn daughter for the first time. It was that phone call that altered everything for me and even though I can't change what happened to her I can make a difference for those still fighting the cruel and unforgiving disease that is cancer and for those that will face it in the future. I've done fundraising events and walks for cancer as my Grandmother is a survivor but after losing my mom I wanted to do something bigger. I talked with Chris and my coworkers about volunteering their time & Boost for Boobies was born. We would make a difference and encourage others to do the same along the way. "

I heard threw the grape vine that I won the Injectors any size. The raffle lady told me that I could leave and MAP would call if i had won.... anyone know how to go about this or how they plan on rewarding prizes?!

I am happy to say that we over doubled last years attendance, and well over doubled the money raised.

We here at MAP are just taken back by everyone's support of this event.

I hope to see everyone back again next year, and the year after and son on.

We had some sick cars on the dyno, and some sick cars in the car show. Was just a spectacular turnout.

Great job guys, it was fun! We went from 10:15ish to around 11:30 couldnt stay too long due to adrien needing to take a nap, didnt see many guys there that i recognised besides the map guys, but im not good with faces. but adrien had a great time and loved the cookies. :)

We would like to take a moment and thank the hundreds if not thousands of people that came out to MAP last Saturday in support of this great cause. Although the weather wasn’t ideal we still managed to gather what was estimated to be 700-800 cars from all aspects of the Twin Cities automotive scene and secure some airtime on WCCO at both 5pm and 6pm making this event a huge success. Our only regret is that we couldn’t appease everyone that wanted to get on the dyno this year based on the sheer size of the event. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience; we can only hope that our intentions with the auction style format were clear as our goal was to raise funds for the cause.

With that being said, we are very happy to announce that Boost for Boobies 2011 generated more than $10,000 in proceeds that will be donated via our family’s team, Renee’s Renegades, at the upcoming Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. This amount is more than double our donation in 2010 and really says something about the Twin Cities automotive community that we are proud to be a part of. Additionally, none of this would have been possible without the support of our sponsors and the efforts of the MAP staff, friends, and family who donated their time. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support!
