I think those changes were a mistake.

Why, aren't you 62mm powered?

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes

61mm, but that has no bearing on my feedback. My feedback was based on what I think is best for the event as a whole, not based on me doing better.

I agree, you completely screwed up the top half of classing.

But hey, if the Honda guys really want to dig their own uncompetitive graves and change the classes to run with cars that actually are fast, who's to tell them they can't?

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes

Yep I see this as putting FWD cars at a bigger disadvantage, but its what they want. Also, what I have posted is almost identical to last years classes, worked pretty well from what I recall. I was just hoping to have a bigger Quick class this year, but it might not be in the cards. Plus I'm sure John and Mark don't want to run that Corolla either lol

Lmao

Well see if any of these "fast" make it to eliminations cause last year they didn't!:news:

Revised RS/U to 62mm and removed any limitation in KS/U by request on the Honda forum. Looking like Mark, John, and our Evo will be competing in this class now and Outlaw / Quick 16 will be mostly vacant again.

I think it will come down to what car can make down to the finish line. My car has had 8 passes in one day, the most ever, typical is 2-3 before something goes haywire... Good call keeping the 62mm class real.

Looking at buying some tires. I wanna run in SA. Can I use QTPs or those new M&H ones that buscar is selling?

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes

From how I took the rules the QTP's wouldn't work but I think the M&H ones Buschnuts has would work.

Hopefully Chris or one of the map guys can chime in for sure though

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes

Yeah buschar said you can run the M&H in the stock appearing class at the shootout. SO..... hopefully. I dont't want to spend $1k not to run them, so before I pull the trigger I need clarification.

Here the said M&H tires that are in question.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes

Drag radials are fine (it appears the M&H are radials), QTP's are a bias ply to the best of my knowledge. If you're going with the M&H I'd love an opportunity to quote them for you, we're a BR dealer :)

Is there a bike class made up yet?

We are working with the great people over at Simply Sport Bikes on the motorcycle classing. If you have any input feel free to voice it here, we always appreciate the feedback!

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes

It looks like they are not letting the qtp's run as they are infact bias ply instead of a radial. I'd be interested to see what people can do on those new radials though ;)

Is there some sort of trophy for the person who can't drink the most beers in one beer bong? I'm willing to try for that.
