I have a feeling that his saying of "stay in it" might not apply here.

Actually, I have been told when the car gets squirly you should stay in it, atleast till it's pointed straight, otherwise if you let out when it's not straight, it will eventually gain grip and b-line it to the wall. But, what do I know..

If Rau told you that then you need to remember that he's not entirely sane.

I got sideways at RF in the stealth on a no lift 1-2 shift. Back end stepped out, I lifted, and since it is AWD, with the clutch in, it grabbed and straightened out.

Let me tell you something about "the back end stepping out." lol. It's not because it's AWD, it's because the tires regained traction. And does anyone have any news about today?

Friday night heading down to my parents house the car wanted the last laugh. I should have the car up and running in the next few weeks and try again for the track.

The intronets is a hard place to impress. I can deal with traction, if I do not have it then I turn the power down. But shifting with this set up is key, if this thing falls out of boost between gears it will be slow. And I have driven a many DSM at the track with shifting issues, it ends up being a bad day all around. I have done everything I can on my end to ensure this tranny will shift at 9500rpm and handle the power the car makes. But if for some un known reason it does not work then I do not want to spend the $70 plus fuel and time to go to a track. I would just head down to Uni Saturday night, and puts around and show the car off at Porkys.

I'm guessing the transmission failed.

Hey, smart asses, given that he quoted his own post talking about the transmission it was safe to assume that he was talking about the transmission.
