The car runs and drives. I put a shitty tranny in so I could drive it.

Holset works fine, good spooling and nice size turbo, it just is having all these dumb problems. Which makes me wish I never jumped on that bandwagon. lol.


I still might just sell this car. If so Ill just get a Shep stg 1. FOR SALE. Or Shep 4 and a twin disk. KEEP!

Keep the car you fuck, You dont owe anything on it and it is what you have always wanted in a 1g. Paint it black so your happy 100% with it. I know you to well and if you sell it your going to end up buying another 1g within a year of selling that one. Its been like that since right after high school.

Gotta agree with mike, I think you will regret selling it. Just continue doing what you're doing, make the car the way you want it, and enjoy it. 1g's aren't getting any younger, and there aren't too many like yours.

Kevin, your 1G is awesome, from what mike says it sounds like to be perfect for you, you would have it in black, so make the car how you want it and keep it.
I'm not sure what your power goals are either, but that fresh motor has got to be nice.
I'm sure you could sell that holset pretty quickly since its pretty popular now.

Paint it black and keep it! Now that your getting rid of the other project that you were gonna replace your talon with theres no point on selling it. And we can all tell your still hooked on it when your looking to increase your mods!

I like 1gs. I just want a mint/perfect one. and mine isn't good enough.

I'm at the point in my life where I think cars should pause, or be on the back burner. Selling my Talon would be a chunk of a downpayment, but thats no fun ;)

An v8 swapped 240 done right would still be neat. but im not into spending money anymore.

Ahhh wtf. I can't make up my mind. New turbo, tranny, build the engine and fuel system, paint the car.. Expensive hobby.

We'll see.

I have seen one. And I almost cried because I couldn't get it.

It was local. I saw it at "Owner 2 Owner" car mart in white bear lake about 3 or 4 years ago.

Smurf blue 92 AWD Talon. Black leather, sunroof. STOCK MINT FLAWLESS 18,000miles and the window sticker on it.

It was $7,000 at the time. I would have killed for it.

And my car seriously isn't "NICE" enough for me. I just have high standards. I don't want a show car, I just want something that hasnt been shat on, f-ed with, neglected. Blah. There are nicer cars in MN.
