Yeah, those wiring harnesses can be a bitch, but it's lookin' good. Nice AIT sensor location. (are you using multiple aits's?).

Just the one for now. The few little things to finish: mount the radiator and make coolant hoses, run the oil feed and drain for the turbo, run the water lines for the water to air, tin around the fuel cell and trunk, run the battery wires, finish the interior wires(gauges and the alternator/fuse box, run a few switches for fans and the water pump, clean out and tighten fittings in the fuel system, finish mount the fuel pump, load base map break in car and tune, so not that much. I am also looking into removing the sun roof, gutting all the doors and putting in lexan windows, and a carbon fiber hood would be cool but not until next year.

I think a set of Weld wheels(or similar, light) and full slicks will be in order befor it sees the track.

Re: Finally getting stuff done on our cars

I have a little more done on the car, radiator and hoses are almost done, the wiring is almost done, and I decided to remove the dash and make a custom gauge cluster. I have cut down the alternator harness to where I need it, now its time to run the wires for it. I hope to have it at the fall dyno day. The car will be tuned on E85 or c-16, it depends when MN switchs to the winter mix.

Bah, use E98, much cheaper and the blend is consistent.

Good to see you're keeping it and getting her done.

"after 10, 15 grand tops, over night parts from Japan if we have to, it will desimate all." "I need 2 big bottles, and I need it by tonight", the only time in the hole move they referd to it has Nitrous Oxide, not nawwwzzzz.

Re: Finally getting stuff done on our cars

Nope. I jsut got back from the shop. Thanks john! I think every issue is fixed! It pulls, shifts through the gears when I pound them, doesn't die on me..etc. Too bad the end of the year is here, and If I tuned it would be a waste. So, I'll wait till I get those parts we talked about onto my car, then tune. I think this time around the clutch will hold, and the car will rev out!
