Re: Mitsubishi Day at LSE Performance -- April 29th
Why would anyone choose one event over the other? They're completely different...
One is a Dyno Day for DSM'ers, the other is a hang out w/other Mitsu-owners day... I just don't see the similarity...except that it might be better for some out-of-town DSM'ers to just spend the weekend rather than have to make the trip twice... |
Re: Mitsubishi Day at LSE Performance -- April 29th

Re: Mitsubishi Day at LSE Performance -- April 29th

Re: Mitsubishi Day at LSE Performance -- April 29th
Curt your right about DSMers being cheap but simple logic should determine that if somebody wants to come to both events having them the same weekend would be better. Usually if somebody has something else planned it would be for the whole weekend. So chances are if somebody can make it on Saturday they will be able to make it on Sunday.
And if you cannot afford $20 in gas for a few trips to LSE. Then you should be taking the fucking bus instead of driving a car. I am coming to both events since I do not have anything going on that weekend. |

Re: Mitsubishi Day at LSE Performance -- April 29th
if my dsm is up and running by then I'll have that there, and if not, I'll probably be on my bike, or in my 240 if the weather isn't so great

Re: Mitsubishi Day at LSE Performance -- April 29th
Hey everyone,
I've got some more details about the event. We'll be grilling up burgers, brats, and hot dogs. Food will be however much you want to pay. We'll have a donation bucket there. If you could throw in $2-$5, that would be great. We will also be doing some serious drag racing in the parking lot.... But before you get too excited, its actually slow drags. There will be two lines drawn about 20 feet apart. The goal is to go from one line to the other as slow as possible without actually stopping. The car that takes the longest wins. We'll have some prize for the winner. So start building up your muscles in your clutch foot. LOL. Also, there will be a dyno exhibition. We will have one or two Mitsus on the dyno to show it off. These will be some high horsepower monsters. The highly trained LSE staff will also be giving away a trophy or prize to the best Mitsu. Think of it as a mini car show. Hopefully this means most of you will actually wash your car before coming to the event. (maybe) hehe. And finally, I've set up a sign up page for the Mitsubishi Day. We would like to get a decent idea of how many people to expect so we can get enough food. The sign up page is at: http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe&id=6 So please sign up if you are planning on coming. Thanks, Curt |
Re: Mitsubishi Day at LSE Performance -- April 29th
If this was at the end of the year I think it would be rough having 2 events the same weekend, but being couped up all winter, we are ready to get out and check out some cars!
I doubt the twin disk clutch will do too good in the 'drag competition'! |
