Good luck, I hope it works out for you. And sorry to hear what happened.

I will say if you have a witness, sue the fucker. Regardless of what the police say with who was at fault or what not. She saw it, he can't provide shit. If he wants to play the games make sure your the pitcher and he's the catcher is all I can say.

Be timely about it if you do decide to pursue something legally, I don't know what Minnesota's statute of limitations is.

I'm fine with $3100 honestly. In the beginning I was super heated about it, but now that I've had to deal with insurance and police and telling the story 12093821309218 times; I'm just glad I can let it go now.

The new shell was pulled into the garage 10 min ago and I'm going to start working on it early as hell tomorrow and attempt to get it to the track by Sunday. All I want is one pass in it before the season is over.

I really want the low 10 high 9 slip...

Hmm... The first time at the track with the car and the amount of work ahead of you?... Heh. High expectations?

Good luck with the whole accident and track day.

You are a better man than I is all I can say. He would be funding my new car. The whole trying to say it looked like you blew a tire thing would piss me the fuck off. Best wishes with the new car. Hopefully it runs well for you.

Really blows man. Good to hear you're shaking it off and getting back in the game. I love my cars and if anyone hit a 1g I owned, I'd lose it. Especially a rich f**ker like that, who imeadiatley(sp?) gets his car into a shop. I was pissed when someone crashed into my probe gt and I hated that car...lol

A year ago things would've been different, I didn't have a care in the world. Now a lot of things including a baby in six months rests on my shoulders.

They must have cleaned up those threads over on RiceKillers; I looke through them and couldn't find much about the accident, just a bunch of garbage about fixing the Mustang after the accident.

There are a few people over there that are ok; but the other 90% are chest pounding dickheads. Sorry to hear about your car.

^Yeah they did. I was still checking it out frequently when all this went down and I didn't hear one word about it until the pics were posted on here and Matt said it was Nick.

Re: I had to say goodbye today...

Why do DSMs have to be so difficult?

I put the brakes among other things on my shell today and rolled it out so I could wash it. I washed it and guess what, a caliper decided to half way lock up on me.

I pushed the car out into the street to try and get a running start at it and no matter what I did I always got stuck at this one hump in the driveway. Even with Christa helping we couldn't move it.

I tried using my Honda 110cc mini bike to pull it in and nothing. What did I have to end up doing? BUYING A FREAKIN WINCH! I mounted it to my door frame on the door that enters the garage form the kitchen and pulled the battery out of my DD and pulled the sucker right in.... All for a car wash.
