ya. had my first dsm break down today... my cat was clogged, battery had NO water in it (have no idea how that happened) and i have a short somewhere. spent all day trying to get the mofo home today. :razz2:

i don't know what kind of short. the battery wouldn't hold a charge at all today, so i replaced it, the car ran fine after that. i mightve created a short somewhere when i put my stereo in today, but i unplugged it when i started having problems, so i think its somewhere else, maybe made worse by me dinking around in there. i'm going to tear it apart tomarrow, and see whats up. has anyone ever heard of the windshield wipers turning on by themselves?? cuz thats what started this whole thing, they turned on and i had to pull the fuse to get them to quit.

Ahh, gotta love these cars. At least you don't have an exhuast leak that never goes away.

Bad alt. cook the battery and the alt. could be the short.
