I just remembered that there is a 96 (I think) BMW 325 in the Mankato Free Press with a M3 engine in it. It also mentions some sort of suspension work. That might be somthing to check out. M3 power and handeling with 325 inscurance.

if all you care about it straight line speed, why not get muscle car?

parts are cheaper and easier to find
faster to install
and you have more options

A lot of the go-kart cars like the Miata, Focus, CRX, etc get their asses handed to them when you goto a real road course where both power and handling come into play. A lot of cars aren't well suited for swerving in and out of cones in a parking lot in 1st gear.

Oh yeah and about the comparison, not to throw salt in the wound here, but I read the review on the comarison you are talking about and the SRT-4 beat everything in every category other than braking distance and weight if I remember correctly.

Im not exactly sure anymore, i might try and get a cheaper car if i can go back that far with a loan. Hopefully, because i need a car like today! haha
