Re: our new house!

Since it was in the 70's and sunny today I finished up painting the garage. Two coats of Behr white on the ceiling and one coat of Behr 1-Coat Classic Silver on the walls. Overall I'm really happy with how it looks!

Yup, I'll be using the garage floor epoxy coating stuff. I plan to make that one of my next warm weekend projects. I was originally going to do that first then I realized working from the top on down would be the smarter choice.

Cool beans! Haha, what's your definition of a warm weekend? Haha

Well today was in the 70's, but as long as its 60+ that should be fine for doing the epoxy.

>_> I guess the weather over here is more favorable for the Boosted Cars around. Ha while they have to deal with that heat over there. . . .Not a very good advantage but we have to make each other feel at some kind of advantage lol!

Not sure about DSM's, but the stock Evo ECU actually pulls timing when it gets cold outside :D

I think my car will take 60s over 9 any day of the week, as will I.

We had a local painting company come last week to do the exterior and today to do some interior accents; I think things turned out very nicely!

Sounds more like man card retained if you ask me :D After getting the estimates any thoughts of us doing it ourselves just didn't make sense. If anything I would have painted the exterior since I have experience doing that. I painted the garage walls and ceiling myself at least...

Looks good! But yea I agree with Tom, that stuff is easy as cake!

Re: our new house!

The piece above the mantle it about 20-25 feet high so I really didn't want to rent or buy a big ladder (nor rent a truck to haul it with).

Painting is easy, but writing a check is even easier LOL It was pretty damn nice coming home from work and just having everything done; I can't lie about that. I get enjoyment out of doing some projects and tasks, but painting isn't one of them. Janelle really doesn't have much time either with how busy she's been at work (and now out of town the next two weeks).

Yea I hate painting too. The high parts would suck for sure, since I hate heights! lol
