^ you do know that kevins car does have an alarm in it. You would just have to find out what brand it is ans get a remote for it. We just never took the time to take it out of the car.

It was just pissed of honda kids that messed with the black evos. They did not do anything to my car at all and I just had my greddy gauges zip tied to the roll cage on the cruise.

So pumped! Matt Dizzle told me about the cruise on Thurs! Very nice. My B-day is the 14th so I won't feel bad if anyone decides to buy me a B-day shot. Woohooo.

I forgot all about it cuz I never use it, but the car has an Alpine alarm. I have no idea if it's 2 way, and it hasn't worked since I got the car. I just never got too ambitious about taking it out since it doesn't interfere with anything.

Back on topic: Since Mark is taking vacation days for the cruise and we both work on the same shift, I think I might be starting to feel a little :cough:sick:cough:

We don't have radios, but we stop fairly regularly so that the people at the back have a chance to catch up.

This is one thing I wanted to suggest we start doing. There's no reason people can't have FRS radios, they aren't expensive and don't need to be anything special. It'll help us communicate better while driving.

Radios are always a PITA unless everyone has them. I'm willing to try it out, but usually we stop pretty regularly for photo ops or breathers anyways so its rarely needed. Just one more thing to futz with, when we could just be driving :)

I like the idea of radios..not expensive, and works for a few miles..easier then calling cell phones, and messin with that. I say we should try it..

:woohoo1: Glad you two are gonna be able to make it! I've never done a radio in the past but I think others have. Not a bad idea but we do have several stops along the way so people can catch up, get gas, go to bathroom, etc.

I have a pair of them some were.
It would not be a bad idea if the girls are going to ride together this time. It sure would make easer for me to pass people so I would not have to ride in the ditch to see around them.

The last time I brought up the idea of radios for a cruise, the response from the majority was "How're we supposed to hear them over our exhausts?" which is a fairly valid point. My handheld HAM gets twice as loud as any FRS I've had. If that'll do FRS bands I'll use it, but I wouldn't suggest $300 radios to people for just this.
