Re: New dsm to minnesota?
thats why i just want to buy a awd i dont have the time or money to convert it, and once i get the awd then ill start putting nice parts on and modding it out...tastefully though ha not too much

Re: New dsm to minnesota?
It would make no sense to ever convert a FWD to AWD when you can buy a half decent AWD shell for $500 most any day of the week.

Re: New dsm to minnesota?
I'm planing on getting this one, what are some needed aftermarket parts to make it better, and about how much to do so.

Well I'll try and get that blue one then save for awhile then try and see what I can get then start modding but like I don't know what I need if like I get something for it then like supporting mods. I am not the most mechanically inclined person.

Re: New dsm to minnesota?
Look at peoples project threads, study up and if you have a chance to help someone do it.

Re: New dsm to minnesota?
no idea i was bored

Re: New dsm to minnesota?
And wondering what else I could do to make my car perform better at a reasonable price. And what some things do because I honestly don't know.
|
Re: New dsm to minnesota?
Research, research, research. (emphasis on search). Your end goals should determine the parts you buy. If you want to go really fast, or if you want a fun reliable daily driver.

Re: New dsm to minnesota?
Well I will need a dd because it would be my only car but I want to be sneaky quick kinda like a sleeper, like woah that car is quick!

The current car you have has the potential and is definitely a sleeper. I haven't researched much on auto dsm's, but I'm sure they can be just as fast. What are your plans for a modded dsm? straight line? auto-x? 'highway' roller? What you are searching for is already out there so my only advice is: search, search and search more. |
Re: New dsm to minnesota?
Yea I know my car is great but I don't really want fwd. But what do you mean by money?but I'm sure I want speed and reliability.
|
Re: New dsm to minnesota?
power and going fast=lots of money and upkeep
