Re: The Gun Thread
Well I now own a Walther PPS .40 and my dad also picked up a Walther P99 .40 at the same time. We love both and are gonna take the CCW course at Metro on the 6th. In the mean time, my lovely lady ordered this for me: https://squareup.com/market/rkba-con...le-iwb-holster
I hope it works as well as it looks. Anybody have a holster like this? My gun is only .9" thick though so almost anything should be fairly easy to work with being the stick figure I am... |
Re: The Gun Thread
I picked up a simple holster like that for my carry gun, H&K p30 Vs 2 LEM trigger in 40S&W and all I need todo is loose a few inches and I am good to go. I plan to pick up a open carry level 2 holster as well, and possibly a under the arm for summer use, we will see.

Re: The Gun Thread
Picked this baby up from Arnzen Arms after pestering them for months. Got it for just under MSRP and tossed in a case of 1000 rnds of 9mm. I shot 150 rounds through it at bills the other day and it is a BLAST. Can't wait to buy a sig brace adapter and some 30 round mags :)

Re: The Gun Thread
I wouldn't bother with the sig brace sir. They changed the law on it now. If you shoulder it its now a felony. They knew people were using them to get SBR's around the law...it sucks as I was going to build an SBR with it.
If you really want a stock, get one and go through the 6 month wait and 200 bucks or whatever for an SBR license. Or just do it and be hush hush :) I also went to Bill's this weekend, got to shoot for the first time in a long time. Shot my walther, my dads 9mm, my dads 380 and my bro's sig m400 ( i think that is what its called). Good day of shooting. |

Scored an unfired/new in box Norinco MAK-90 a couple of weeks ago.
Removed the butthole stock and found a square back receiver! Sorry 'bout the pic quality... If I had a dollar for every pixel in my photos I'd have a dollar |

I am aware of the most recent opinion letter sent from the ATF. I will likely go the NFA route with the scorpion and file the Form 1 to SBR it. I'd like to get an NFA trust setup prior so I can bypass some bologna. In the mean time, an "arm brace" "velcroed onto my arm" will suffice :) My 10.5" barreled AR-15 pistol needed a brace :) |

Scored a BNIB PAP M92 today for a deal and on the way home snagged a Norinco Model D SKS.
(16" paratrooper barrel and factory converted for AK mags) One of the SKS unicorns I've been looking for... Now if only I could find an Albanian and Romanian |

Built my first AR over the winter. I'm planning in using it for coyote hunting next winter. Well see if that happens though. I have about 200 rounds through it so far

My brother and I were out shooting his Kimber 1911 .45 in the backyard yesterday. I had a an old snowmobile piston from a top end rebuild and wanted to see how that would hold up to some rounds. I was amazed to see how well the top held up. The round knocked it back about 15 feet, but it didn't break. The copper mark is the .45 round and the others are .22lr
