Thanks for all the feedback!

I'm kind of excited to see the improvements at Rockfalls this spring. Traction should be better with concrete.

I installed the new snail, and went from a 3.5" down pipe to a 4" too.

The exhaust wheel is way more efficient and 10mm larger, should make more power everywhere in the power curve. The Garrett is a 10 blade vs. The 11 blade on the pte.

I need to finish up the exhaust and install my 300m output shaft. That's all that's planned for this winter.

Made some progress last weekend, I dropped my transmission and installed a 300m output shaft. The new shaft is on the right:

I also finished up the ss to aluminum joint transition on the exhaust and routed it under the oil pan. 4"is a very tight fit. It's lessential than 1/4 inch of clearance between the transfer case and oil pan, measure twice and cut once!

The oil filter looks a lot closer than it really is, over an inch away.

I need to get one more vband aluminum flange to finish up the exaust. I really like the Vibrant quick vband clamps with male and female flange sections for alignment.

It's nice they have that on the aluminum pieces, I have used their SS v band and it's very nice. Great progress man.

I now live 5 minutes from top end :)

I didn't even know until I moved here that it existed, drive by it every week.

I hope to attend many events there this year with Mark's old slicks that I bought from him!

LOL, we will see. I no longer live the single life, family man now with woman and child so I don't know that she would approve of this.

Exhaust looks good. Reminds me of the old days when I used to drop my catback at RF.

Re: Mark's 1G Winter Projects

The car is on the ground now! I had some pulsation in the brake pedal and i believe it was due to my caliper being mounted too close to the rotor. The rotors are scalloped and the pad was not centered on the rotor. My father in law helped me out, he has a cnc mill in his garage, and he has been trying out dyi anodizing. The result Is awesome. They are made from a strong 7000 series aluminum.

So impressive, so much fabrication work in this car. The anodizing looks great!
