Well the JMF catch can and SMIM should be on their way shortly.

Also just picked up a Used Laptop for Link. I had been using a real old Sony thing that got the job done, but this one should be a little bit nicer.

Re: My Winter Upgrades

Went to install the fuel feed today, and was taking pictures to make a little write up article for anyone else looking to do this. I quickly found out the adapter fitting that screws into the OEM fuel filter is the wrong thread pitch. I edited my prior post with the part numbers in case anyone else was looking to do this. Originally I thought the banjo bolt thread was 12mm x 1.5, but it is actually 12mm x 1.25mm. Just putting that out there for anyone else.

Yesterday
-Installed the Dual 255 pump setup yesterday. Tested the fuel system for leaks and so far so good.
-Attempted to install new fuel feed line but found I had a wrong fitting so the stock one is back on for the time being.

Today
-Got the oil drain for the turbo fixed up as it was kind of rigged earlier causing a leak.
-Put the EGT probe into the manifold.
-Primed the whole system with oil about 10 times just to be safe. No visual leaks as of yet.
-Put the front bumper and lenses back on.

-Right now Saables Gobbles is charging up the battery a bit before I go and just crank her over and make sure she fires up. There's no exhaust so it'll be loud, and will probably idle like crap considering the O2 sensor is just laying in the engine bay because it has no exhaust to screw into yet. Exhaust should be started sometime this week hopefully.

Looking good, are those HIDs on the Saab? They look bright as hell!

Ignore the flames, exhaust should be going on sometime this week hopefully. I'm just glad she started up and actually started to idle semi decently.

And yes, the Saab has HID's. Maybe the Talon will someday too.

Pretty sure that is the harness I put in there. It's the same bulbs that the green dragon used.

Got some other misc stuff done. Had to slot some holes to lower the hood latch a bit to get it to fit better. Also put the hood pins on which helped as well. Hood fitment is much better now then it was originally. Also got the vent attached to the new hood. Put in the new front speakers (thanks mr. hill). Got the interior back together for the most part.

Rinsed off a lot of the dust. It's still dirty but looks a lot better. Cousin should be here shortly to tow her away!

Also got the laptop in the mail! Got Windows loaded on it. I'm real happy with it for paying only $185 shipped. It's extremely light too which will be nice.

FedEx man left me yet another gift on my doorstep. Who keeps sending me these wonderful things??? :)

17x8 Rota Boost's
35mm offset
Bronze

No tires yet though. If anyone has some decent input or recommendations for a good size to go with, and a good brand that is a good medium between performance and price, I'm all ears. I'm currently researching that right now. I currently have 16's so I need new tires, but I was fairly happy with the Fuzion's I had on there before. Good bang for the buck. But I may need something slightly better now.

Get some 235/45 17's. They fit great on my silver car. I have Kumho MX's on there and they are a pretty good tire. I took Kracka's advice and tried the Sumitomo HTRZ's on the M and there isn't a better tire for the money! Don't get the plus', just the regular HTRZ, I think Tire Rack had them.

Re: My Winter Upgrades

Get Falken Fk-615's or Dunlop Direzza's.

Cant wait to see this thing out and about!

Was the rim on the silver car pretty much the same as mine? 17x8 35 offset?

g-Force KDW or KDW 2 = $140-150

If I went through anyone on here, it'd probably be Pete at Goodyear who sponsors the forum.

I also added a couple others I've been looking at. I'm not a tire expert at all, so they all look good to me.

I dont deal with those kind of tires so I wouldnt really know much about them but I do deal with Good year, michelin, bridgestone, dunlop, ect.... and sam's club's prices as far as I'm aware always beats the dealer...

Brandon check out Edgeracing.com , awesome prices. Have a local discount tire match the prices and then mount them for you.

Brandon, mine are 17x8 with 32mm offset, so basically the same. They don't rub at all!

Re: My Winter Upgrades

Cool thanks Jet. It came down to the Falken 452's, or the Sumitomo's, and I went with the HTR Z III's. Doesn't seem like you can beat them for the price!
