My 3 favorite pics of all time:
1. Brandon laying on the sidewalk in boxers.
2. Andrew on Brandon's couch holding a dumbbell after pissing himself while asleep.
3. Brandon shirtless jerking off an intercooler pipe.

Swifty, I am setting up camp right about where we were last year

Brian pointed it out though truth be told we were more to the left. There is shade and plenty of area to camp and have a fire.

I think we should just camp at the same place we were last year. Only bad thing about where we were, is we were on the opposite side of the track as the bleachers were. So I felt like I was constantly going between our campsite and the bleachers for getting videos and what-not.

There are bleachers on both sides of the track....

Close to the pits though for drag racing! Not everyone is drag racing and honestly the only time I was hanging out at the site was at night and when I was working on my car, otherwise I was walking around BSing with everyone or racing.

I am so lost on what to do, I don't think that I want to camp. I will probably drive up both days, my brother is going the auto-x so I don't want to miss that but I do want to see some of style's best doing some passes.

Man up and come up! :)

Quick question, what is the best place to get good unleaded pump gas up there? I know we're somewhat spoiled with BP93 in the metro area and it's rare elsewhere. Or is there a station in front of the track that carries some (decent) 100 octane or something that I could pour a few gallons into my tank?

I was thinking the same thing! But more towards e85. Looks like st.cloud has some and Baxter. Baxter looks to be about 10-15 mins from the track.

Scheides can't ya just add some octane booster to that ish ;) lol

Yeah, it's not far at all. When I go up to the track I bring four 5-gal cans with me. The Evo X has a horrendous trunk and even it can hold that.

St. Cloud has like 3 or 4 E85 stations, Brainerd has one that I know of, I think it's a Holiday Station on the right hand side if you are coming from the metro area.

If you fill up in the Cities you'll arrive with plenty of gas to run autocross and drag, ~110 miles from Rogers.

If you don't want to camp, what about getting a cheap hotel room in Brainerd? If you drive back and forth twice, that'll probably cost you a tank of gas ($30 or so). Plus 4hrs or so of extra driving. You might be able to just find a hotel for like $50 for Saturday night.

Pretty much all grass and no power outlets but actually has some shade which is nice. There are plenty of slabs back in the turn 10 corner where Map and Kiggly were (don't know about power there)

The area we were in had open slabs near by, and was really close to the strip/return lane. If anyone broke I would imagine someone who was running would lend their stall for an overnight repair (worst case). http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k3...nion/BIR-1.gif

Brandon swaped his rear axle in the grass :D

I have a feeling it's going to be a much bigger turn out this year. Maybe we should have a dedicated Style pit and a dedicated campsite.

I'll have a big EZ-up out there too

I didn't want to drill any holes either so I ordered one from this site http://www.pmrcomponents.com/ . replaces the clamp on your brake lever. should get it tomorrow hopefully.

Sunoco has 110 at the pump right across Hwy 371 from BIR. And there is a BP station right next to the track but only has 91.

You guys think I'll pass tech with only lap belts for harnesses instead of having the full 5 point harnessess installed?

You'll only need to if you run 10.99 or faster y0.

Yes, I think they will give you shit about it. Lets fix that oil leak and install a harness. I wanna see a 10.7 this year.

That's what NHRA rules say but both years MAP has posted this

Don't know if BIR said everyone had to have it or not. Hopefully I don't need it

I have an extra but it's an older Snell. You could always go to tech with a newer one and then run with mine ;)

That'd be shitty if they make you have one, I was kinda hoping to bring my bike up and I don't have a tethered switch or full leathers. I wanna see you rip that shibby up.

I'll probably work on it a bit tonight and Thursday, if you wanna come over and have a beer and help you're more than welcome! I just wanna trap a little over 140 before something breaks, then I'll be pumped.

Well if they follow NHRA rules we won't need one. Bring an extra lanyard and I'll bring the rest (just incase)

If my trailer doesn't fall through I still have a spot for your bike.

Do you have a cage and everything too? I forget :)

Yep, just have a kirkey and a lap belt. Been too busy to screw around with a harness bar to use the full 5 point harness. No cage or anything, hope they're as strict as they were last year ;)

Who's bringing a grill? I'd like to bring some meat and cook it instead of spend massive ammounts of money at stands or something.
