That is a pretty sweet article. Man the X is slow compared to a IX, straight line atleast.

Man I did not realize how much bigger the X's brakes are compared to teh 8/9's! freaking 13.8" in front, 13" in back versus 12.6/12.0 dayummm!

Looks like a good daily driver. They still have not released how much boost it is running. The SRT4 has a 2.4l version of the engine making 285hp and is only running 10.2psi. The RalliArt lancer might be the tuner special. It is supposed to have a 2.4l engine and AWD.

damn it! It looks like the SST tranny is being made by getrag, and max torque is only ~350lb/ft :(

Prices have been releast too, $34k for a GSR with 5 speed. Boo Mitsu!! I was really pumped for this car and I couldn't care less now. It's fat and expensive, if I wanted an Audi I would just buy one.

Getrag made the 3S trannys too. They are only rated for 325 Lb/ft (440 N/M) yet nobody has striped one out from power. I wonder if those are as grossly under rated as the 3/S tranny? Probably not.

Getrag = mk4 supra tranny as well. Rated for 350lb/ft yet holds over 1000.
