well the car is up and running! made to st.cloud with no issues. at least not yet. and is at a good 15psi with no knock! hopefully 20psi by saturday!

a top mount 4202 on a 2.3l stroker..I'd say after hearing a few things from it, it would make around 700ish or so on MAP's dyno.

What do you mean? If MAP loads the FDSM onto the dyno, we may overlook that, but otherwise top whp mitsu car takes the trophy. Most of the 'shop' cars around here are fairly homebrew projects anyways.

Quit beating around the bush and sign up. Hell, I'll frumroll ya after with my baby turbo if you're trying to prove something :)

The FDSM won't count for the trophy since its not a Mitsu. Don't let the trophy be your deciding factor on participating though, the day is about getting together, having fun, meeting new people, and supporting the site! We're just awesome enough to also have trophies and prizes :D

things aren't looking good for me. got the car back and it doesn't leak but the oil burning is getting pretty bad. so a little later I'm going into my work and double check that the turbo is still fine and do a boost leak test. as for dynoing as long as the turbo is fine i'll probably put a smoke show on for everyone

I think the reason my turbo smokes so much is cuz of the oil seals. There isn't any more shaft play than a normal BB turbo would have.

i cant wait to be disappointed at my base line for dead stock, except for a manifold back exhaust( no laughin at my nice red glasspacks hangin off my green car with primer either) lol

I see. I think my smoking is so bad because of the turbo. I pulled the intake to do a boost leak test and there was oil residue on the turbo inlet and there was some side to side shaft play and some in and out shaft play.

don't think I'll be dynoing anymore :mad:

Can anyone bring their torque wrench/21mm socket (deep perferrably) to the dyno day tomorrow? I need to borrow it to double check my wheels since I swapped out the lugnuts, and I don't have access to my tools right now. Thanks.
