Hey Tom, check this out. So is CNN turning into Fox news now, or will this open your eyes?

OMG Fox must have paid him off! :D

Nothing will open Tom's eyes until this country is beyond broke and the wealthy have been taxed so heavily the entire country is unemployed.

This won't even be the first time the US government has forced people to have health insurance.

http://open.salon.com/blog/paul_j_or...lthcare_system

http://open.salon.com/blog/paul_j_or...-212_years_ago

''As America grew, this system was expanded to the inland ports along the Ohio and Mississippi rivers and others. It eventually became our Public Health Service, led by the Surgeon General. ''

Think about that. John Adams liked the idea. History will simply repeat itself and this 'soshalizm' coming to America will go down as a VERY good thing.

History does repeat itself, mistakes and advances alike. The best we can do is learn from our mistakes. There is a reason that the PHS did not expand and turn into universal health care for the whole country.

And remember, Adams was known for doing things that were borderline unconstitutional, and stifling to the country. Almost all the other founders disagreed with things he did. He was ousted from office by Jefferson and didn't do much after that.

Here's a time line for the implementation of the health care bill. Strange how nothing really happens during up coming election years.

Good thing we have the constitutional right to succeed from the US as a state. I foresee Texas and others doing this eventually if it gets any worse and then we will have another civil war on our hands. The military will side with the conservatives and shit will hit the fan and hippies will die:)

Rick Perry (TX governor) has already made mention of it in public speeches.

I am not surprised..didn't know that, but not surprised at all. Things could get very ugly. I am actually going to be taking gun safety soon, not that i don't know how to shoot or haven't (i have a bunch) but for peace of mind. Then i am going to get my carriers permit just because I can and i will never carry. Then i am going to get some guns.

I have a feeling i may need them.

I have actually strongly considered this...no income taxes and they have one of the strongest economies in the US right now.

Yeah, we got hit with snow 3 times this year but it was gone the same day twice and the next morning the other. All of the Evo guys down here (including me) just run summer tires all the time. This was actually the snowiest winter on record since 77/78.

Even though TX isn't in the corn belt we produce a ton of it down here and ship it all across the country.

As far as job availability down here...I don't think you'll find a stronger economy anywhere within the US right now.

Didn't get hit quite as hard as some states, but they certainly weren't exempt.

Re: March for health care!

This popped up in my email, figured I would post it and see what everybody thinks about it. I did not write it, and I don't know who the author is, so back off!!

"Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to islam.

The ObamaCare bill is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I, Ann Barnhardt, a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize muslims. Period. This is Dhimmitude.

Dhimmitude serves two purposes: it enriches the muslim masters AND serves to drive conversions to islam. In this case, the incentive to convert to islam will be taken up by those in the inner-cities as well as the godless Generation X, Y and Z types who have no moral anchor. If you don't believe in Christ to begin with, it is no problem whatsoever to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver. "Sure, I'll be a muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, bro?"

I recommend sending this post to your contacts. This is desperately important and people need to know about it - quickly.
