Thanks man! is it 110 leaded or unleaded? Any idea what the best pump gas in town is to get? I think I'll just drive on what I got in the tank for saturday, and then if I'm feeling crazy throw in some of that 110 on top of some BP91, should be good grounds for a bit more timing on sunday :)

I want to see Mr. Hill's car really, Kevin/santa's 67 setup, MAP's shop cars and I'm not sure what else will be there right now to say.

carl's car is a back half o the track car for sure. Although i do think its time for him to invest in some new slicks. At grove creek he was still spinning full slicks with about 10-12psi air pressure in 3rd going through the traps haha

This will be the first time my car has run at the track since the previous owner had it on pump/meth in Iowa ( was 11.40's then ). Now E85 and 100 more whp ... should be intersting if it holds together :)

The 110 at sunoco is leaded. But if your mixing it your o2 sensors will be fine. I always get gas at the BP next to the track. Never have had a problem with them. I live right around there so I use it quite a bit.

I was going to have my car dyno'd and up there to make some runs but due to a national back order I do not have a tranny that could handle the power and or shift at 9500+ rpm.

So unless a lot of things change, have a safe and fun weekend guys and I hope to catch the next big thing with my never ending project.

My car is ready I guess, didn't make any more power really, same identical graph/curve as last year. It was hot as hell in the dyno room but Shane's dyno compensates for that so that may not have been a factor.

I upgraded the intercooler and ran a ported exhaust manny and the car still responds exactly the same. Switched to speed density too and that didn't help for power.

443hp/407tq at DB at a couple more pounds of boost. I guess I'm happy to know that after another year, 15,000 more miles and after doing my first Evo timing belt and replacing valve springs, everything is the same. :)

LOL, something like that. Last year April it made 432hp, then right before MAP proving grounds in June last year it made 421hp, this time it made 443hp. I'm going to guess next time it makes 430. :D

Tonight I needed Shane to get the speed density setup correctly and running right, it does have better driveability then ever before so that's a bonus.


I bet it will run 11.2 at 125 at BIR.

Great news guys, Brainerd just informed us that there will be a price adjustment for this weekends drag racing. The price change will be $25 for the weekend for the drag racing. They want everyone to get their money worth. So even if we see a couple of sprinkles on Saturday, everyone will still be able to get out and make up for it on Sunday!

Also, the AutoX, Drifting, and the Road Course will all be run rain or shine! So everyone get out there early and let's make this a great time!!!

FYI, the Sunoco station that sells race gas is about 1/4 mile from the front gates on the opposite side of the road, it is 111 octane leaded and costs $7.17 per gallon. Checked it out last night while I was in Brainerd. Have fun guys!
