Tachyon is running the downfiring on his car and he runs unlimited class. 18g Comp cover does have a mitsu symbol on it if that counts for anything. I'm gonna talk with Shane to and see if we can max out the 16G cover and do a second tune with the 18G cover. I'd like to see what this hta68 does back to back on the dyno to but funds aren't there to be screwing around right now. Thanks for confirming tachyon. I just have an end goal of having fun with it. Don't really care what class I end up in.
Yeah the pro tree sounds dumb. Maybe that rule will change. I'm also not running a stall in my car so gotta see how much Boost I can build by just holding the brakes. If its not good ill get a restalled one from ipt. If I do end up in SA/U though this bish is going on an expensive diet. Lol |

No restrictions on exhaust for SAU, might as well do a dump right off the o2 housing! You can gut the interior too, and Lexan is allowed. :D

Question wasn't directed at me but this was my 16g auto experience.
Usually all you need is a good set of pads and the e brake to hold the car on a stock size turbo. |

I don't think there's an ef2 on the market for Dsms yet. Think he's still on an ef1. Not that it matters ef1 to ef2 still bigger thank a 16G.
On my old white auto I could build 18 psi before the brakes even started to make a noise like they wanted to move. |

Hey another guy with an auto chimed in!!
Mine would push thru about 20psi, but I'd rather think about it in terms of TQ. That would be about 37x+ wheel TQ the brakes would get tough to push. Get it running and we will get it figured out. Vacuum pump will make it easier. |

So this fat ass auto has now officially gone on a diet.
Things I did when I swapped the interior over to black -sound detening -removed some random stuff from behind the dash Maybe 30-35lbs Things I just picked up -Corbeau seats (super light) -aftermarket wheel (no airbag) -pulled passenger airbag -replacing glass in sunroof with carbon fiber Those 4 items should be around 120-130lbs in weight saved 16x7 kosei k1 weigh 15.5 so that's a 6+lb savings over stock 20lb total rotating weight. Not sure what stock starting weight (3400?) is but if I can get it closer to 3200 with me in it I'd be happy. Ill add pics tomorrow |

Pull front and rear crash beams? A/C? Could maybe do the rear seat belts too since no one can really fit there anyways haha

Joel the autos start out more than the manuals. Not sure what but ill look it up
Goodhart -front and rear crash beams are gone -ac gone -non abs car to start -power steering deleted -seatbelts in the rear are not installed -no speakers or radio Bet that stuff above is another 60-70lbs I forgot about. Thanks! |

Wow, you have a decent amount taken out already! Need some more carbon fiber now!
Otherwise, I'm not sure how much you want to leave in it, but floor mats, trunk carpet, privacy cover, lighter battery, blower motor, heater core, fog lights, electric windows for cranks, washer fluid reservoirs, fender well plastics, aluminum radiator, any extra left over wiring may all be possibilities. |

-Spare tire area stuff is all gone (tire,fluid,jack ect)
-aluminum radiator with pushers fans done -fog lights -floor mats -trunk carpet -rear seats (when I go to the track ill take out at home) -privacy cover (track day) Also gonna pull out the front and rear wiper assemblies Smaller battery More carbon to come come working with a guy on tuners now for a hood and hatch combo. Just gotta make sure he can have it here in time. |

Just ordered a SMIM Almost ready to bolt up the trans so then I can drop it in. Injectors will be here tomorrow Rail will be here Wednesday SMIM will be here Thursday So can't see why it won't be running by the weekend. |
