I made a video of one of the guns I shot in Cambodia. I had a little fun with Movie Maker too. :)

I went to Gander Mountain in Rochester on Saturday with the Girl and told her before we went in I told her that if there was a really good deal on something that I want I'm going to get it, thinking that never happens to me. Low and behold we walk in and they are having a sale. All new in stock Glocks for $499.99. I ended up walking out with a G23 with the RTF and I love it. Its perfect for IWB carry and I like that it can be converted to a 9mm with just a barrel and mag change. Great gun for the money.

Woot. The PD called today, I now have a permit to purchase (after I go pick it up). Now I just need to decide on exactly what to get. SIG's are pretty much my focus.

Re: The Gun Thread

Well, thanks to CVD it didn't take long to make a decision. We met up at the range and spent some time shooting. After lunch I did some browsing and a little comparing. I "pulled the trigger" on something I liked. I now own a SIG Sauer P225. So far I haven't even shot it yet. But it had a feature I liked and the price was as good as I had seen so I picked it up.

The feature I liked:
http://www.mitsustyle.com/photopost/...m/IMAG0054.jpg
It was hard to get a perfect picture, but the three green dots are the sights. I may not know where the target is but I certainly know where my gun is pointed! (they show up much better to the eye than the camera shows) SIGLITE night sights.

The P225 is no longer made but Bill's had a few left over. The replacement P229 is a bit lighter but I liked the way the P225 shot so I picked it up.

Thanks!

If I am disappointed, I have determined the solution to the problem is an another one (P226). I'm going to try and make it to Bill's after work tomorrow to get a few rounds off.

I'm considering picking up a model 48 remington auto 12ga shotgun for shits and gigles. its 170 bucks and in fair condition. it would mostly be used for grouse and clays and maybe some duck once and a while. I have a benelli supernova pump 20gauge, but i want a 12ga and i want an auto. I got the benelli when i was first learning how to shoot shotguns and im basicly a pro with it now.. anyone got experiance with the remington 11-48? for 170 buck it seems like a good deal!

I picked up a target plinker a few weeks ago from Kjeergards. Did the free mods.

Went there originally to pick up an SP2022 or one of these but they had no SP2022's and I didn't want to leave empty handed..So far I have over 550rds through it.

Went to the store to pick up some ammo and ever since I seen 1quick4's saiga 12 I've been looking for one, couldn't find one, so I picked this up for now.

Saiga 7.62x39. Going to be putting a few things on it, 30 rd mags, different trigger, hand guard, hopefully rails and a scope for 'yote season! Still lookin' for a saiga 12 though.

If you guys need help with the conversions PM me. Remember if you run a hi-cap mag or a pistol grip on a Saiga you need 922r compliance parts.

word.

I have 14 countable parts on my threaded barreled model.

Has a different thread protector (USA), and the mags are USA, so thats 4 parts, and gets me to 10 if the high capacity mags are questioned.

Cool!

An ex of my trapped up at Metro. She was pretty good, and I wore a skirt and watched her on the sidelines lol.

MD ARMs drum ftw! Mine works great!

Brian, What handgaurd is that? Is that a Galil?

It's Arsenal's RPK style handgaurd http://www.k-var.com/shop/product.ph...cat=426&page=1

Eventually I'm going to go with Dinzags AK handgaurd and rear sight block conversion for a more traditional look.

Nice pickup. My 1st AK was a 74 and to this day I still wish I hadn't sold it.

I recently came into possession of my great grandfather's 1914 "Liberty" patent .32acp pistol. I don't know much about it except It's a Spanish made version of a Colt 1903.
