No real ETA other than hoping by the end of the month.

Girdle is all set. I have to order slightly different bearings due to the girdle/studs affecting the circularity of the mains. So getting some new bearing sent to him and he will be line honing it.

Just about buttoned up. Hopefully pick it up very soon and (*gasp) pay the bill...

I have all the final measurements in place. So based on that I am choosing to run the Cometic MLS .027" thick Head Gasket. In the end based on my rough calculations I will end up with approximately 10.3:1 compression ratio and a .044 squish, which are numbers I'm very happy with.

So tempted to sell vette and do a project car. After seeing your car go from slow to pretty quick. Has me think of building a car. Can't wait to see this thing rocking the new motor and all the boost. Lol. Keep up the great work. Maybe you and Peter well race?

Ha maybe. We almost had a race setup last year, but there was a cop and I think he was on to us lol.

Also got the first piece of my new twin disc setup. The custom flywheel and pilot bushing.

New custom harness is still in progress He sent me some teaser photos. Small communication mix-up resulted in me scoring a mil-spec firewall connector for free (usually a few hundred dollar adder). Kinda cool, that way the engine bay wiring can be completely disconnected right from the firewall.

Motor paid for and picked up. They wrapped them up real nice, and we put em in some bins with bubble wrap for easy transport.

Also twin disc setup finally delivered after over a month wait.

Now just waiting on my valve covers (ordered ~2.5 weeks ago & "shipped" 2 weeks ago with no tracking info....). And also on my custom harness (ordered on 11/9 with and estimated 3-4wk build time). So pretty much normal for this industry as it would seem...
