I'll of course drive it to OC tomorrow!

Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
I've changed my mind, evo's are so yesterday. You should now upgrade to a 35z or g35.

Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
That Integra in Scheides' gallery reminds me of a Suzuki Swift I saw a couple weeks ago. It had Conquest/Starion wheels on it and they stuck out farther than the wheels on that Integra. I laughed pretty hard at it :)

Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
I've driven a G35 (brand new) and my coworker has a 350Z (one year old). The Z interior is just plain shit. They are slower, heavier, and handle worse than a S2k. They have more interior space...barely. The S2k doesn't have all the luxury features, but it feels much more quality; no cheap plastics, no rattles, no large gaps.

And X factor: yeah, that was sarcasm, I really like the z/g cars. |
Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
I agree the 350z interior is cheap but the G35 was nice.
350z<S2000<G35 in terms of all around vehicle aspects imo... Not sure where Id put the Evo in those ratings. :P |
Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
^ cant really compare an evo to those, like apples to oranges. I might just have to stop by oc....oh and do not re badge it, clean, smooth and sexy ftw!

Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)

Well, you have much more restraint than I do. :)

Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
A testpipe, a Walbro 255 fuel pump, and a Whiteline rear anti-sway bar have all been installed between yesterday and today.
|
Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
Fuel pump install was a breeze, sway bar install was a BITCH! But we got it done. After doing the testpipe, I would say that the car picked up as much power as mine did, an honest 10-15whp up top. Highflow cats are a freaking joke for performance cars, why can't someone make one that is not such a restriction?
|
Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
They have to be a restriction to work, unfortunately. How do you like the sway bar? I may pick up a IX in the future.
|
Re: Dear members of this board: (UPDATED w/ PICS)
The new bar made a difference, it wasn't huge, but it was noticeable. The Whiteline bar came with new bushings, but not new mounting brackets. I was a bit upset about that at first, then I gave the stock brackets a good look and realized they are pretty damn sturdy so I don't think its such a big deal after all. MAP gave me a great price and the bar fits perfectly and doesn't rub or squeak at all.

Did you greaze it up?
