You all are talking about businesses using their money as if it's the only way anything gets done within a business, or the only way a business will grow. There are many things that can be done within a business to make them operate leaner and more efficiently, making the most of their investments and cutting costs at the same time. You don't necessarily have to spend more money to make more money, it's all a matter making the most of the resources available to you, and those resources aren't always dollar bills.

Now that the VP debate is over i can rip on Palin again.
The fact that she lived up to the LOW expectations of most of the commentators is just sad. Mainly because the Expectations are so low that pretty much any "Joe 6 pack" could have. The fact that someone shooting for VP didnt smash the low ass expectations proves that this woman should not be there. She seemed like she had studied for a big test and wanted to get every question right. Nothing seemed on the fly, She kept changing the subjects, not answering the questions, and her hunkeedory attitude was annoying at best.
On the other hand, we have Joe Biden. I know i have a biased opinion towards him because ive already made up my mind on who i am voting for. But i thought he did a REALLY good job. He was ready for any turns sarah tried to pull on him. He brought a lot of facts to the table, made a couple nice soundbites and attacks. It really did seem like he was holding back a ton of comments he wanted and could easily have spewed her way, But im sure America wouldnt have reacted so well to him just making a total mockery of her and tearing her apart because people still believe that you shouldnt pick on a girl. I truely feel that Biden would make a great VP.

She did better than I thought, and so did most of the media and political analysists ive heard from. I still cant stand her, she shouldnt be on McCain team.

I dont think Biden tore her apart or really did that much better than her either, and thats what ive read as well.

Sorry Tom, but you saying she sucked and biden ruled, just shows how left straight liberal you are.

I'll agree there, he's been in national politics for 35 years. Obama formed his Presidential exploratory committee after being a senator only 143 days. You can't even manage a McDonald's after 143 days of experience, but he wants to run this country? Fuck that.

Lets get this straight. Anyone who saw the debate and the analysis should agree.


People thought Palin did what she had to, defend Palin. Biden did what he had to, rip McCain.


There was a completely different objective in this debate. Palin was just trying not to embarrass the party and Biden was trying to better his campaign. This is why some republicans think she did well, lower expectation and she didn't embarrass them (again).


IMO, McCain campaign talked with her before the debate and said, "if you don't know what to say, just say you are thankfull to be running with McCain and his policies and talk about something different."


She avoided giving answers to several questions as she has no idea what is going on in the world.


Peter, how can you vote towards putting her into office??? She is one bullet away from running the country. Do you think she is qualified??? What a mess we would be in.


For those who think Biden would be better, you are voting on the two of them. There is no fundamental difference between Barak and Biden. They have similar beliefs and views on the world. I believe that they are going to work together to fix the mess we are in. It is obvious that McCain and Palin don't see eye to eye on issues and that it will be a campaign run by McCain.


I just can't see how anyone can try and vote Palin into office. Anyone on the senate would be more qualified to run.

i didnt say he would raise the prices, i said i would like to afford these things. which means if all my money is gone to taxes (and the price of gasoline WILL go up under Obama) i wont have fun spending all of it on parts and helping the economy :)

Raise taxes on the people making over $250k, that is how yo raise the money. I bet there is not one person on here who would be affected by affected by this. Most of you probably don't know that they have been increasing the social security cap over the years which I support. For example in 2006 it was $94000 and in 2008 it is $102,000.

The article above talks about it increasing the tax evasion. This is BS as they have significant penalties they charge for payroll tax evasion. For example, I was working on a local company the other day who payed over $32,XXX in penalties this year. The author doesn't know what he is talking about.

Palin calls herself in the middle class. They released her tax returns and she made over $170,000 in low-cost alaska.

I think a few years in the senate is far more valuable than part of a term as govorner. Atleast obama had to deal with issues affecting the country including internatational issues. Not just abusing power while sitting in as governer.
