I'll get one tomorrow. It's still way too dirty to take pics of. I'll wash it all tomorrow and take pics of everything. The new fronts make the rears look absolutely tiny now.

Wow, that's a huge difference! Those stockers look like toys compared to the new ones! Looking great Kevin!

Haha they had orange high temp paint at the store, but I decided to go flat black at the last minute. I figured they would be way easier to keep clean.

I can't wait to stuff some stoopid huge brakes on my car, they just look cool, and like stopping on a dime. Car looks great btw, I plan to do an sr20det 1991 240sx coupe, with an s13 silvia front end swap, after I get done with dsm's...should say, if i'm ever done with dsm's...haha.

Re: Project S14 240sx

The car stops way better now, they used to fade at the slightest sign of a little bit of heat building up. Now they just keep pulling harder as the car slows down. I love it!

So true! My friend has a ca18 240 he's been slowly working on. He has the same brakes waiting to go on. I was amazed when I saw how small his brakes are though.

Awesome! What kind of pads and fluid did you get?

Kevin 1G Drummer 03-24-2010 01:03 PM

Re: Project S14 240sx

They're Hawk HPS pads, and just regular DOT 3 fluid. I didn't see a point in changing the fluid till I get the rears done as well.

Looks awesome! I think you should drop it a little more in the front though, get rid of the gap.

Lookin good!! Brakes really fill out that wheel, and like that exhaust a lot better than that mega 4" exhaust.

That's a sexy S14! Looks so much better now!

Re: Project S14 240sx

WOW, looking good Kevin! Does the rear have some mad camber or is that just the picture?

Kevin 1G Drummer 03-25-2010 12:37 PM

Re: Project S14 240sx

I was actually thinking about dropping the front a half inch or so. The gap has been bugging me a little. And yes, the rear has some negative camber, but not as much as when the tires were tucked into the 1/4 panels by an inch. I need some adjustable rear upper control arms to take care of that.

Thanks for all the compliments!
