Injector Size?

Right now I have 780cc FIC injectors but i am switching over to e85 and getting link instead of the keydiver chip i have now. My goal is around 450 at the wheels and my question is this: If i get 1000cc injectors will i be maxing them out? Also, is RC or FIC better than PTE when it comes to injectors? I have looked and found differing opinions on other forums, but i am interested in what you guys say.

I am running 950cc's right now at only 40% IDC around the 400hp range. I'm sure 1000cc's will be plenty for you.

I call bullshit unless you have the fuel pressure cranked way up, which is dumb.

What dyno are you shooting for 450whp on, DD or DJ? 1000's on E85 and DD aren't going to cut it.

What fuel? 1000cc's would be fine for Gasoline not E85.

I made 481 HP Dynodynamics with E85 and 850's but it wasnt even close to safe.

Re: Injector Size?

My FIC 950s are around 70% at most at 410hp on a DJ.
Supposed to be plenty for about 42lb/min at 80% and 52lb/min at 100%

Turbo is a Bullseye Performance T04b 50 trim and im shooting for 450 on a DJ

Re: Injector Size?

FIC 950s should be good then. Maybe 880s but I think that might be close.

Re: Injector Size?

So i would asume PTE 1000's should work fine then

Re: Injector Size?

Just a side note, I like my FIC 1150cc injectors

Running them on pump gas, they provide good fuel control at idle.

Re: Injector Size?

1000's would be the minimum I would go, the 1150's Andrew mentioned would be perfect.

Re: Injector Size?

Yeah i would love to get some of those 1150's, but 1000's are much easier to find a lot cheaper

Why not just wait the extra week you need to and get the 1150's. they're better that you might as well just get them even if u have to save a bit more money.

Re: Injector Size?

Thats what im planning on doing. I found some FIC 1150's for a decent price, so i will most likley be going with those.

Re: Injector Size?

Found an awesome deal on some 1000cc delphis, from what i have read they are the same as FICs. Is this accurate?

Re: Injector Size?

Well 400 on a DD. 1000s really wont be enough?

Re: Injector Size?

I would get bigger so you dont have to buy bigger in the future. I have 1600's and work great. Idle great and staying well under 70% with a scm61 at 30psi
