Temporary car storage needed

I just got notice that my apartment is having the lot cleaned and painted on Tuesday 9/20 at 8am. This leaves me 2 days to have my non-running car moved. LSE is going to work on it when the time comes, but until then I am in dire need of a place to move it to. I doubt Enes is able to tow it because he's going on a trip soon, so if anyone is able to tow it I'd appreciate that as well. I am willing to compensate all services in a monetary fashion. PM me or call me at 952-250-0193 if you are able to help me out. Thanks in advance!

The car is located near 169 and 394. I would like to keep it in the general area or closer to LSE.

How long until it goes to LSE?
I'm up in Ramsey and could probably keep it on my property for a little while.
I also have a tow-dolly I could borrow.

LMK,
Brian

So are you looking for a place to park it, or someone to tow it?

Both, really. Hopefully I won't have to let it sit at someplace too long.

He has a tow dolly, and is in Ramsey.. Sounds like a perfect opportunity!

All you have to do is disconect the rear drive shaft and you can use a dolly. I thought weve been through this. I can pull it with my truck if needed. but I dont have any storage.

Re: Temporary car storage needed

His tow dolly might have rear wheel rollers so that all wheels are off the ground... but if not then just disconnect the rear driveshaft and haul it away!

If there is no tranny in it, it shouldn't matter. Like was said, disconnect the prop shaft at the rear diff and wire it up (or take it out completely).

This car is AWD, full drivetrain and at my apartment with a lack of any tools aside from a tool box. A full trailer would be best at this point. Thanks for the offers, hopefully I can line something up on Sunday and have it done Sunday night or Monday night.

Re: Temporary car storage needed

Matt you don't need that many tools to do it. And besides it wont hurt the car. Take up 1Quick4's offer. It will be alot easyer then trying to find a trailer in this amount of time now.

All you need is a 14mm wrench (2) and to jack up the rear, well thats on a 1g. I can't remember on the 2g, think its the same.
Brian's offer would be your best bet, as we are 1-2 weeks backed up.

Make that two 12mm wrenches. It takes 5 minutes to drop the drive shaft. I took my car down the track on a car dolly this weekend. It is a piece of cake.

So ya I droped mine. Them bolts are easy to get off. You can even use a socket too.... Wont take long, Matt. I dropped my whole drive shaft because I have to replace a ujoint....

Re: Temporary car storage needed

It seems that getting the dolly from Brian is going to be the best bet, so will just need a truck, a come-along to get the car up onto the dolly and maybe a jack to get the driveshaft off if I can't get under there once it's on the dolly.

Thanks again guys... Hopefully we can get this figured out and going Monday night so I don't have to pay a towing company to move it for me.

I think it is a 12 also. It was on my 2g at least.

Re: Temporary car storage needed

Jim talked me into just pushing the car into the underground garage, so anyone who is available after 5pm to help push is welcome to show up. :) It's flat ground so won't be much work, just 15 minutes of your time. There's a case of Honey Weiss in the fridge as well. I know Brandon said he didn't have anything going on, so we should only need one or two more.

So you don't need a tow or a parking spot?
LMK if anything changes.
