What BOV do you have?
 

I'm just curious what BOV you guys have on your car. I drive a 2g GST but I have a 1g BOV with a hard UICP attached to it. I'm satisfy with it sometimes. But when I hear an HKS BOV, oh man! Kind of wish I went for the HKS instead, but 1g BOV is fine for now. It just sounds like a huge puff of air puffing but sometimes it'll sound like a whistle.

Greddy Type-S purple top......

I don't like it, flutters too much even with the adjustment screw all the way out.

Wish I had my old 1G, with a 1G flange, it worked perfect.

Greddy Type s, I love it. Sometimes though, I wish I had something more mean sounding, but it does the job.

There is something wrong if you have the screw all the way out and it flutters. I have a Type S and love the whilste sound. I now have an Type RS and it sounds like a loud 1G BOV and it is a pain in the ass to ajust because it does not flutter like a Type S.

I have a Greddy Type S in mine but gonna switch it for a SSQV real soon :P. I love the loud whoosh-whistle ^_^.

When I got my car last year, it had a TurboXS Type H-RFL. Way too loud for me. Even shifting at 3k rpm with low throttle, just normal acceleration, it would make the loudest hiss. Quickly sold that on ebay for $80 and got a 1g bov.

I tape recorded my friends BOV in a cassette.
Wherever i drive, i play that ppsssss beat all the time extra loud.
Imagine seeing me, at the red light with a loud BOV non stop no engine roar.
At the park, psssss.
At the car wash, psssss.

hehe, i was gonna do that like 5 years ago just for kicks.
But i have a greddy type-s.
Something is wrong with my bov, when you quickly press the gas just a tad, and let it die down, you hear this whistling sound like a pipe.

How do you guys recirculate aftermarket BOV's?

I bought an UPIC and it has an aftermarket BOV on it, not sure which one.

that one isn't for recirculating. It has the bell shaped outlet to increase the sound for when it vents to atmosphere. I run a 1g BOV, crushed and polished by good ol QPR!

I use a greddy type s, but I have a few Turboxs RPFL loud ass pieces of shit here that I got with cars.

I run a HKS SSQV. I will also be adding a TiAL when I redo my piping. The HKS opens quick, but does not blow off as much air as the TiAL. They should work well together.

I've got a Greddy type-S. It works I guess. It'll either sound like a fluttering, dying dove, little tweety bird or a yelping dog.

Tial, baby! So far, it holds 26psi perfectly, and it's loud enough to make me embarrased sometimes :)

This is my second one, my old one was red. My 2G came with a Type-S and I hated it. It made this loud whisteling noise that I thought was completely rediculous, like it was trying to be louder than it was. I took it off 3 days after I bought the car & installed this Tial.

Tial, but I don't think I have ever even heard it over my exhaust, wastegate, turbo and noisy clutch clutch.

Greddy Type RS. I definately dislike this one, a lot. I'd like a Tial, or an HKS Racing.

I have a Greddy type-s...used one on my gs-t and loved it...when I got my talon I used a turboxs rfl...liked it for awhile because it was so loud...but now I am back to the type-s!

I got the Flamidation Valve. Its a killer unit. Probably the best thing on the market right now. :rolleyes:

I have a Turbo XS H-RFL. I love the sucker and would only trade it for a Tial.:cool:

hmm, i own an RFL, but i think i may go back to compressor surge. sounds better. i may stick with it untill i get a bigger turbo.

nice and loud. i really loved pulling up by someone on the highway with an open window and giving them a "PSHHHH-comegetchasome-shhhhhh".

it's currently in a friends car.

I have a Tial, haven't yet put it on. Looking to redo all the intercooler piping as the new BOV goes on.

Welp, now that I look back on things, I maybe should have kept it, but priorities being what they were, i had no need for it. Now the car runs, and sometime in the next few months, it will get more powers so I'm gonna get a Tial mebbe. 50mm ftw.

I have a forge 1G now on my Evo, and I totally hate it. Flutters too much, makes part throttle driveability shitty.
